9:45pm

20 minutes later, we get to a somewhat fancy restaurant and go inside. Amelia looked around before spotting a table where her coworkers were seated. We greet her friends and sit down at the edge of the table across from each other. As we engage in conversations some with people I don't care for and some with the people that always made me feel comfortable, from the corner of my eye, I see a tall and muscular man walk in and greet everyone at the table before we finally made eye contact.

I then realized is way the grey suit man from earlier today. I immediately put my head down catching Amelia's attention,
"You know my boss don't you?" I nod
" Yes, I served him and his friend at the diner earlier today." He starts making his way to us and sits in the chair at the end of the table that's between me and my best friend. He greets Amelia first then turns his attention towards me,
" Hello, my name is Aiden." I shake his hand and give a shy smile, " Hey, my name is Anna nice to meet." He looks at me before sitting back in his seat, " I'm pretty sure you were me and my partners waitress this morning." I look down embarrassingly, " Yep that was me."
I look back up at my best friend who is smiling and looking between me and her boss. I laugh and shake my head, " Am I missing something here?" I turn and look at him , " Nope, she is just being her." He laughs " When is she not," we both laugh as she mugs us. " Not too much on me now, remember I'm your ride home sweetie." I laugh and blow her a kiss " I love you bestie."

As the dinner continues, I watch and listen to their conversation as they talk about work and mostly all they girls at the table try to flirt but was ignored either with a laugh or witty remarks. He turns his attention towards me, " Where are you from Ms.Anna?"
"I am originally from Houston but moved down here for a better learning experience and environment." He nod and turns his body towards me as his eyes never leaves mine.

" What are you studying?"

" I am studying to become a Midwife Nurse."
" What is a Midwife Nurse?" I smile and turn to face him a little more and intertwined my fingers together.
"A Midwife Nurse is a licensed healthcare professional who specializes in women's reproductive health and childbirth. They can attend births, perform annual exams, give counseling, and prescribe medication." As I talked, I can actually tell he was listening to every word I said which brought back a feeling a haven't felt in a long time. I start to like him or at least have a crush on him.

" Wow that seems a little tougher than my line of work." I smirk, " It might be," we laugh and continue talking about his line of work and asking questions about one another. Our food arrives, as they are handing out our order, me and my best friend watch as a waitress basically shoves her breast in Aidens face and smiling the biggest smile I've seen which made her look a little creepy. We laugh and shake our heads.
An hour later, we all walk out the building laughing at the story Aiden was telling. We turn toward each other and before we can say anything, my best friend walks up to me, " I'm sorry bestie but can you please catch another ride home, I really wanna go out to the club and I know that not your kind of scene so I told them I can if you get someone else to take you home." I look at her like she's crazy and roll my eyes, " Whatever Amelia, go have fun I guess." She lets out a squeal and gives me a half hug before running off with her work buddies.

" I can drive you home Anna." I shake my head no, " That's alright Aiden, I'm sure theirs a bus stop somewhere or I can call me an Uber."
He shakes his head no and takes out his car keys.
" It's not safe enough for you to catch a bus and why spend unnecessary money on a ride home when I'm giving you a free one now." He walk to his car and opens the passenger door, I stand there for a moment and decide to just get in after making sure I had my pepper spray and taser in my purse. After getting in he shuts the door and gets in the car on the drivers said asking me for my address. I give it to him and 24 minutes later, we pull up to my apartment. He gets out and opens my door for me then shut its after I get out.

" Well Ms.Anna it was nice hanging out with you," I look down at my feet as I smile,
" Likewise Mr. Aiden."
He lifts my head up with his finger, " Can I have the pleasure of taking you out next Saturday?"
