I peeked inside the high classed restaurant and saw a couple dining together. I didn't focus on them though, i focused on the food that was half eaten on the table. I gulped and heard my stomach rumbling.

The couple oblivious to me watching them continued chatting their life away. I decided to not torture myself anymore by watching them eat and walked away. I haven't eaten in 3 days all because i saved my money to buy myself a cheap acoustic guitar. 

I walked to the music store and avoid myself getting distracted again. I walked pass alleys that is so familiar to me now and passed by other homeless people who i knew. "What you gonna buy this time?" The man asked

Most of the homeless people here can be trusted. They will not steal other people's money and work hard on their own. "A guitar so i can busk" i smiled and he chuckled. "Your passion for music is always strong" he said and i nodded.

I bid him goodbye and started going to the music store. I went in and passed by a lot of guitars. None of them caught my eye. I saw the man behind the counter watching me and i knew he was only watching me because i was a homeless man. He was suspicious of me.

"E-Excuse me, which guitar is the cheapest one?" i asked nervously. "What kind?" he asked "Acoustic" i replied and he nodded. He got out from behind the counter and lead me to the corner of the store. 

"These are a few cheap ones, below the normal price range" he guided. I looked at all of them and saw the black one. I checked the price that was on top of the guitar and i only needed a little more to be able to get it. One day of singing my voice out would get me enough money.

I decided to recount the money i already had and put it back in my pocket. I nodded to myself and thanked the man before leaving. I went back to my cardbox home and went inside. Dirty ripped clothes that was my bed and old books that became my pillow laid on the ground.

My plan for tomorrow is buy a bottle of water and then sing until i get enough money. I slept thinking about my new guitar. When i woke up at 7, i quickly went to a convenience store to buy a bottle of water. 

I drank some of it before standing with my can of money in front of me and i started singing. A few business workers passed by and almost half of them gave me money. Very few stayed for a while and watched and when the song ended, they would tip me and leave. 

A lot of people told me that i had a nice voice and i wasn't afraid to use them because it helped me survive. If i bought an acoustic guitar, the song would come out nicer. Next step was to buy a microphone but it's going to be quite a while before i can manage to buy that.

By the end of the day, i felt like passing out but at least i have enough money now. I smiled weakly as i feel my throat gone scratchy. I knew i would pass out tomorrow if i don't eat now. I quickly walked back to the music store and smiled excitedly when i walked in.

I bowed to the man who was the same as yesterday's and quickly stride my long legs to the corner. I looked around but couldn't find the black guitar. "Here" a voice said and i turned around to see the worker holding a black guitar case. My eyes widened and he smiled softly.

"I lowered the price. It's now xxxxx won. Use the rest of the money to go buy some food and drinks" he said "Thank you so much sir" i unconsciously teared up making him chuckle. I grabbed the case gently and looked at it proudly. 

I paid him on the counter and he nodded at me before leaving. I thanked him once again and quickly went to the convenience store to buy some instant ramen since that was the cheapest food. 

I sat down on one of the chairs outside and started slurping down my ramen. I moaned in delight before drinking the rest of the soup. I don't feel full but i do feel satisfied. I buy myself some water and then decide to open the case.
