Quick A/N. I'm going to give a brief description of what happened in their first year. If you want context go and read the Book description. Now on with the story. I HOPE YOU ENJOY.

Third person POV
It had now been a full year since Makoto and his friends joined at Hope's Peak Academy. In fact it was the first year for all of his friends. They were all lucky enough to be in most of the same classes with a few exceptions.
During his time spent at the school (in which they slept there during the week and went back home for weekends and holidays) Makoto had learned of his friends true talents and what they excelled at, but for Makoto he still was unsure of what his would be, the teachers had said he may be a late one to discover his true talent but Makoto knew he had it within him to change the world.
Makoto's POV
I couldn't believe I was back for a second year at Hope's peak, and with all my friends too. This year I know I will find my true talent.
As I began to go past the tall gates which led to the main entrance I noticed, a tall boy with a long scarf who was shouting down a drainpipe
"MAGA-Z! I KNOW YOU'RE DOWN THERE, PLEASE COME BACK UP OR I'LL BE LATE!" He was really trying to reach into the pipe by the time I walked over to him and knelt down
"Hey you need some help there?" I asked him.
"Foolish mortal, can you not see I'm doing just fine on my own!" He swiftly said back in a very low voice.
"If you don't mind me asking but, what are you doing?" I was getting curious about what was so important in a drainpipe.
"It does not concern you fiend! Now leave me be!" After that I could tell that he wanted to be left alone. So I got up and brushed off my trousers.
He was a strange person with a very pale face and tattoo near his eye. I hope I bump into him again sometime.
I began to start walking to the main doors before I heard a loud and energetic shout.
"Hey Makoto! I havent seen you in so long" As I turned back to see Asahina who was walking alongside Sakura.
And before I could start to speak she leapt onto me and hugged with all her strength.
"Hey, it's only been a couple of weeks since I saw you last" I pulled away from the hug and saw her glistening white smile beaming back at me.
"I know but it feels as if it's been longer than that, but you ready for another year?" I could easily tell she was ready and excited to go back.
"As ready as I will ever be, this year I will unlock my talent" I vowed to find it out at that very moment.
The bell rang with a loud ring, same as last year.
"Well, I think that means we should go" Sakura spoke to us and indicated that it was time.
END OF CHAPTER 1
