Chapter 7: The darkness of night

TW: Darkness

*3rd person POV*

"Celeste, I'm going to stay up tonight so you get some sleep okay?" Kyoko told Celeste as she turned the doorknob and was surrounded by the darkness of night (Once again i have used the chapter name) Kyoko took one step out from the warmth and security of the shared bedroom and down the stairs to check on the sleeping clairvoyant, his snores echoed through the 1st story of Makoto's home "Good, he's still sleeping." Kyoko whispered to herself, she checked the rest of the living room, the kitchen and the dining room. She made her way to the floor with all of the bedrooms except for hers and Celeste's which was on the next floor up.

Kyoko checked the level looking for anything "Misplaced" The detective whispered cautiously as to not wake or disturb anyone who was sleeping. A light came from Makoto's room as it shone underneath the door, Kyoko made her way to the door and took out a special mirror that she used to see what was on the other side.

"Come on Makoto, don't you want to do something with me?" Sayaka pouted while creeping across the bed like a deranged zombie. "S-sayaka, I don't like this I t-think you should s-stop" Makoto was backing up with every step she took closer stuttering and barely being able to get the words out. "Aww but why should I stop if I've got you all to myself? and if you don't wanna do something like that, i'm afraid i cant leave witnesses." Sayaka kept on pouting and making her closer to Makoto not even hearing the door fly open.

 "I would say you should stop because every word you've said is now in my possession and I have several witnesses" Kyoko was standing just inside the room holding up the voice recorder up with her hand with Aoi and Sakura close by her. "A-ah Kyoko! I'm glad you came Makoto was tryi-" Sayaka was fumbling her words as she got away from Makoto.

"I would save your excuses Ms. Maizono this tape has all the evidence it needs, and it's fully within my jurisdiction to put you under arrest" Kyoko had tucked the tape into her pocket and pulled out some handcuffs. "Kyoko please what have I done wrong?" Sayaka shouted as she got on her knees pleading to the ultimate detective "I think you know what you've done. Aoi can you please call the police and tell them to come here." Kyoko said as she handcuffed Maizono who was sobbing as she looked at Makoto who still had the fear in his eyes. "Makoto are you feeling alright?" Sakura began to ask as she approached him and held a hand out to him "Yeah I guess I feel alr-" when Makoto was getting up he fainted and fell onto Sakura who helped carry him into the living room where Celeste, Aoi and Hiro had gathered. "Yo! Naegi dude what happened?" Yasuhiro said as he got up and went to Makoto as he was lying down on the couch "He can't hear you, hes passed out!" Hina told him as she got off the phone.

When the police arrived and Kyoko, Aoi and Sakura explained what happened Makoto was beginning to wake up. "What happened to Sayaka?" Naegi said as he got up and looked around and began to get his head straight. "She's been taken into custody and could face up to 7 years behind bars but that's the judges decision not mine" Kyoko said as she approached Makoto and looked at him, He was nearly crying and looked weak. "I-i think I need to lie down for a while" Makoto got up began to walk slowly and very cautiously "I shall help you Naegi" Celeste walked to Makoto's side and helped him walk to his room thoughts swirling through his head 'Why is this happening?' Makoto laid in bed for the rest of the day trying to adjust to what had happened this past day and a half.

"I know you're trying to cope with everything that has happened but you need to stay strong Makoto" Kyoko was sitting at Makoto's bedside trying to comfort him, she was given a choice to either help out with the police or spend the day looking after Makoto, she took the latter option she had said to the police "I would rather care and comfort for a friend then to spend a day with villainy"  Kyoko had never wanted to see things like these happen at all especially to her friends. "Kyoko, Thank you for saving me I didn't get a chance to tell you earlier" Makoto was looking at her while sitting up in her bed "It's fine, I was only doing what a good friend would do" Kyoko smiled at him as his tears began to fall, and without notice he pulled her into a hug and began to cry uncontrollably into her shoulder "I don't know what I would've done if you weren't here!" Kyoko hesitated and was surprised by the hug but began to hug him back and comfort him further.

Well that was nice. Attempted rape and death threats but a nicer ending right? who knows what happens next? will Maizono be imprisoned, Will the school be reopened and will Yasuhiro break another glass ball? Find out next time on Dragonball Z!!

In all seriousness this was my favourite to write, anyway See ya next chapter!!
