Chap 7

Aelin pov

During the night my sleep was plagued with nightmares due to the death I burned almost everything in the room multiple times I would wake screaming and the Avengers would come running along with my court. I postpone the benchmarks for the night was horrifying and tiring so When I wake it is about noon and I roll over to see Rowan, my mate he is still sleeping so I get up and go to the balcony I walk out and look at the sun and I close my eyes to relish the feel of the sun on my skin. I hear the stirring of Rowan getting up in our room. A few minutes later I feel arms wrap around my waist and can feel his breath on my neck when he says good morning Fireheart. I turn around in his arms and say good morning Buzzard.

He takes my hand and kisses it and says do you feel better this mourning? yes, I have Addition training, and starting tomorrow we are officially on vacation. Well, we better get packing we are heading to the family retreat in the mountains Also known as the hidden retreat. Well, I guess you are right are we flying or walking there. Flying of course. Yes, dear, Haha, you're funny.  I can not fly buzzard oh really here I thought you could make wings out of flames oh that yes that fire heart believes ah so u did brake your wrist trying to fly and land.no oh really I thought  their name starts with an A do you have any idea who that would be? No, no idea buzzard. I lean up and give him a kiss and head to our shared closet and then we can pack. We pack 14 outfits no dresses for once only comfy and workout clothes and PJ's when our bags are packed wed head down to the Kitchen and get a plate to share thanks to Emrys. We eat and head to the training yard and grab our weapons and start our morning routines. my first meeting is to discuss who will rule in my place while I am on vacation. I walk I the meeting chamber to see my court and I know the meeting will be short because my court knows what and when and how I want things done. I appoint Lys and Addiidon to take our places while we are away. Then we head to the dreaded meeting with the rulers of all the planets to see how things are going to play out with the realms being collided. We start the meeting with what should we tell our people. I start with we should tell them the truth if we do not the threat of an uprising might occur. Then Odin says an uprising has already occurred. Rowan then says NO that was the welcome committee and guards we need protection around the palace Earth rulers to say we understand and were wondering if our people are allowed to visit the other parts of the realm now that the world has collided. Odin speaks and says NO While rowan and the other rulers say YES so I stand and say You have been outvoted Odin and I suggest that you not have a temper tantrum and act like the child that you are. You know nothing God Killer. You know what I can and will do if you continue to piss me off I can see the other rulers start to back away they feel the temperature rising in the room. Till all of us are sweating except me and rowan who is used to my temper. Odin starts saying turn the heat down and still gives insults so I get tired of this and say one more insult your realm BURNS DOWN AND BECOME ASH I WILL NOT STAND FOR ONE TO INSULT THE OTHER REALMS WHEN ONE HAS SEEN NOTING OF THE OUTCOME YOU ARE NO GOD YOU ARE A COWARD ODIN I WILL NOT HESITATE I KNOW THE OUTCOME ESPECIALLY WHEN I HAVE YOUR SONS ON MY SIDE SO IN WOULD NOT INSULT ANY MORE. you have my sons on your side how. I know them and have become their friend and family for I do not use them as pawns. I do no such thing. yes, you do you have no idea what pain you have brought upon them and the betrayal they feel upon their FATHER. Fine, I fold do what you wish I was wrong I realize my mistake I sense the truth in his voice and heartbeat. After we figure out what to do with the realms being collided and they are sent home to their part of the realm. After that, we head to get our lunch that meeting ran long and I am very mad and so I go to the Music room in the palace and start to let my feelings go into the music and the deathly rage I feel disappear in the past and feel the peace settle within and relax.

Rowan pov

I go in search of aelin she was supposed to meet me in the kitchen then I pick up the sound of a pianoforte coming from the music room and go there and I walk in and I see she is pouring her heart and soul into to the song and the rage from earlier disappear into the carefree face I love to see my wife so carefree she has not been this relaxed of open to anyone since the beginning of the war. I join in and begin walking towards her for she promised me panio lessons now would be good to start.
