 The rest of the Avengers and I follow slightly behind Aelin, Rowan, and Loki to the library when all the sudden the queen stands in front of a shelf and puts her hand on a book and lights a flame in her hand, and holds it towards the book all the sudden a secret door opens to reveal a sitting room with a table surrounded with 10 chairs each chair having a symbol above on the top with a crystal. then before we can reach the door to sneak in the door closes.  I guess we have to listen from outside.

Loki pov

L:  It has been too long I miss you both and miss being accepted in your family I felt like a true son to you. I wish there was a way for us all to tell them without me being there All the Avengers hate me for New York even though it was not my fault I was under mind control from Thonoas but I have no way to prove it.

A: yes, you do you have us we will vouch for you.

R: I can prove it, you told me that All you wanted was to leave because it was for the best to get away from the world you do not belong to and from who you were looking for and wanted to go see the people your brothers call friends and see if they would except you because they are supposedly all misfits like you. I am not your true father but you are my son not by birth but by love. 

L- That is true but no one will listen to me no matter what I say. And thank you for accepting me in your family.

A -They will listen to you, give it time, and if not I will make them listen to you, You know I could always use a good fight. But we expect you no matter what you always have a home hear no matter what those dimwitted say. 

R- true

A- I really don't want to go back out there with people I have already had enough for one day.

L&R- me too 

L can we just hide here for the rest of the day please? 

avengers pov T-tony, th-thor,n-nat,c-clint, s -steve,b-bucky br-bruce

s-wow I did not know that should we tell them we know or wait till they feel like telling us.

T- no we should barge in and tell them we already know.

N- No we should not barge in didn't you hear They would try and talk to us so let's give them a week and if not by then they haven't told us we tell them.

B- that sounds like a plan.

L-they are fae, they are the king and queen to are all of you dumb. Aelin is the queen of the little folk, treason, and all the fae.

A - Don't forget the assassins my favorite part of being queen.

T- Wait your a queen of that many things.

A-yes I am it pays to play your cards right and think and plan. 

Th- no way no one can that many things to rule especially not the assassins.

A- I used to be an assassin the best in real You say my other name and people will run and hide.

C- What is your other name?

R- Do not bring that up.

B- why

R - In has been horrific even to me I am 500 years old and have been through multiple wars and training and nothing compares to hers even your Hydra.

B- Nothing is worse than Hydra.

R - Trust me when I say this She now has over 20 scars just from her training the rest is another story.

B- I did not know.

R - Then don't say anything next time. I now have to go to a meeting late to deal with you lot.

S- what meeting?

R -That is for me to know and for you to scram I have a meeting I am 20 minutes late to. I hope she does not kill anyone before I get there.

Rowan pov

Well, that was eventful Now Fire Heart is in a room with ten lords and still has a nonexistent temper towards people today. I can not blame her we have not had a day off since the beginning of the war. I wonder if we could go to the lodge in the mountains for a break sometimes but who would run the kingdom? by the time I get to the meeting room, I can already hear all yelling at the lords and I haven't even been gone 20 minutes.

I walk into the meeting room and head to my seat at the side of the table right next to Aelin. She grabs my hand under the table in an effort to calm herself and I can tell she is mad because there are sparks coming from her hand but she calms a little and the sparks disappear and the lords are on edge. Then I heard Aeiln's voice come through my mind and tell me that they would not give her a weekend off. fireheart that is absurd of why they will not give her the weekend off so I ask. Why can the Queen not have a weekend off she has not had a day off since the beginning of the war and we have more people to help with the repairs and Loki is back he could run the kingdom why we are gone?

Niall answers that because she is queen. A queen does not get a break. Yes, queens do get breaks too look at King Dorian he takes breaks all the time for a week and his kingdom is thriving and rebuilding too. Niall then said. So that is his kingdom, not this one Well technically it is not your Kingdom Niall this is a Queendom ruled by Alein. Well, then when was your last break Nirall last month I took off for 2 weeks. That is my reason right there. How is it fair that you can take 2 weeks' vacation and she can take none? I suppose that is not nice when you put it that way. I will agree she can have 1 week off no I will have 3 weeks off my job is harder than yours and yet you complain about it I have not complained and nor have I asked for a day off this is the first time since I became queen so I will take 3 weeks off and that is the end of it. it will start next week on Monday.DISMISSED. I walk out of the meeting room and see the Avengers waiting for me and looks like they shit their pants at my outburst and are surprised that we haven't had a day off in a while and I have a feeling they know how hard it is being a leader and depended on 24/7 no matter how they feel or the weather they still haft to take care of a whole Queendom no matter what. So we walk straight past them and to Aelin and I's room and get changed into pajamas flop on my bed and cover up and wait to fall asleep. Then Aelin climbs in and I turn over and kiss her forehead and say good night and I wait for her to fall asleep but she wakes up to nightmares 2 times and I sooth them away and she falls back to sleep. Around 4 in the morning, she wakes up screaming and sets the room on fire I quickly smother the flames, and the door bursts open with the court and all the Avengers looking for an intruder and see the ashes Adidion sees the ashes and asks if it was another nightmare/ memory. I answer yes and then Tony asks surprised This is what happens when she has a nightmare this is worse than anyone in the tower. I grow impatient with them to go but they do not listen so I look to Loki for help because he knows more than anyone that nightmares/memories always have a tool to pay and that is sleep and patience I can see he gets the message because he starts trying to get everyone to leave and they eventually they do. I finally got her back to sleep around 5:30 in the morning the time I usually start my morning flight but I decided I was not going today I would support her emotionally instead and make sure she does not kill anyone unless they deserve it.
