Crossmare: Asylum

Chapter 9

I apologise. I have been super lazy and haven't been working on the story for a few days. I finally just finished this chapter and am now working on chapter 10. Anyways here is the chapter. Also please read what I wrote at the end of this chapter bc it is important.

(Nightmare’s POV)

After breakfast we both went back to our room. When we got there I decided to discuss my plan with him, and he did say he memorized the schedule of the workers here. I am curious as to how he memorized their schedule in such a short amount of time when I have been here longer and don’t even know their schedule. Oh well, I guess I just don’t pay as much attention as I should to that kind of stuff.
“Hey Cross”
“Yes Nightmare?”
“I was up early this morning, and I couldn't sleep so I thought of a plan on how to escape this asylum”
“You did?!?”
“Yes”
“Cool!!”
“I also remember how you mentioned that you know every workers schedule and where they will be and when”
“Yeah”
“We will need that knowledge included with the plan”
“Ok!!”. So for the next few hours we discussed the plan and the schedule of the workers and incorporated that in with the plan. I was finally happy to have a plan on our escape though I could tell he had something on his mind while we were talking.
“Cross”
“Yes?”
“I can tell you have something on your mind, what is it?”
“Oh, umm, I was just thinking about when Ink will be able to see Error again”
“Oh, right, I forgot about him”
“If you don’t mind, I would like to go walk around”
“Of course you can Cross”
“Thanks Nightmare”
“Of course, just be careful around the others”. He nodded and then got up and walked out the door. I sighed and laid down on Cross’s bed and fell asleep.

(Cross’s POV)

I was walking around when I saw Error hanging out with a group of people. I smiled knowing he hung out with others. I was about to continue walking when I heard Error call me.
“HeY cRoSs!”. I turned around and smiled at him.
“Hey Error!”
“CoMe On OvEr HeRe”
“Ok”. I walked over to him, while the others Error are talking to are looking at me.
“Do you need something?”
“I wAnT yOu To MeEt My ‘FrIeNdS’”
“Ok”
“ThIs Is DuSt, KiLlEr, HoRrOr, FelL, aNd RaSbErRy”. He said pointing to each of them while saying their names.
“Nice to meet you guys!”.
“Nice to meet you too”. The one named Killer said. So for a while I hung out with Error and the others. I got along with Killer the most, but I got along with the others as well and I would count them as friends though I can’t say the same for them about me. After a while I looked at the time and realized I should head back to mine and Nightmare’s room.
“I should get going”
“HaVe To Go BaCk To NiGhTmArE?”
“Yeah, I told him I was just going on a walk”
“AlRiGhT”
“Who is Nightmare?”. Horror asked.
“CrOsS’s BoYfRiEnD”. Error laughed.
“S-shut up Error!!”. I said with my face going purple.
“Wait, you have a boyfriend?”. Killer asked.
“Yeah, I do”
“I want to meet this Nightmare”. Dust said.
“Maybe at lunch or dinner or tomorrow morning you can”
“Alright”
“Anyways, I will see you guys later, see you tomorrow Error!”
“See ya”. The others said.
“SeE yOu ToMoRrOw”. After Error said that I turned around and went back to mine and Nightmare’s room. When I entered the room I saw Nightmare passed out asleep on my bed. I smiled and walked over to him looking down at him. After a couple of seconds of looking down at him he opened his eye and looked up at me. I squeaked when I felt something wrap around me and pull me down next to him. He smirked at me when I opened my eyes realizing he used his tentacle to pull me down next to him.
“Hey Cross”
“H-hi Nightmare”
“Where were you?”. He asked while wrapping his arms around me.
“I was walking around”
“You took quite a while”
“Oh, sorry about that, I was just deep in thought while on my walk”
“Hmm, alright then”. He said while pulling me closer to him. I smiled and nuzzled my face into his chest breathing in his scent. I was so comfortable that I was falling asleep. I could feel Nightmare shifting around a bit before darkness consumed me.
