Chapter 8

Who else can relate to this picture? Just me? Idk but anyways here is chapter 8 for those of u who read my terrible story.

(Nightmare’s POV)

I woke up the next morning and the room was pretty dark. I looked at the time to see it was still early in the morning. I sighed and tried to fall back asleep but I couldn’t. I sat up and got off of my bed and turned to look at Cross to see he was still asleep. I smiled seeing how he looked peaceful while sleeping. I went back up onto my bed and sat there thinking when I remembered how me and Cross agreed to leave this asylum. I completely forgot about that. So for the next couple of ours I sat there coming up with a plan on how to escape this place when I got tired and went back to sleep.

(Cross’s POV)

I woke up and stretched before sitting up. I could hear the sound of Nightmare snoring slightly. I smiled when I remembered I told Error I would hang out with him today before breakfast. I instantly got out of bed and opened the door to see Error leaning against the wall near the door. I smiled when I saw him and he looked over at me and smiled a little bit too.
“How long have you been standing there?”
“NoT lOnG, dOn’T wOrRy”
“Ok!”
“C'MoN lEt’S gO”
“Alright!”. He got off of the wall and stood up straight and we both started our little walk. I enjoy hanging out with Error even though I only really hung out with him yesterday. He is a lot of fun to hang out with. Though not as fun to hang out with as Nightmare. Then again this is not the first time I met Error. He knew Ink and would hang out with him from time to time before he disappeared. Ink was devastated when he disappeared and tried to look for him every day before he gave up. I guess if I ever see Ink again I should tell him he is here, and if I do remember he also has two brothers by the name of Geno and Fresh. Funny thing is, Error is like me the middle aged sibling. It is funny how much things are similar between me and Error.
“HeY, CRoSs ArE yOu Ok?”
“Yeah, I am, why do you ask?”
“YoU aRe SpAcInG oFf”
“Oh, I was just thinking about Ink, you and your brothers, and stuff like that”
“Oh, HoW iS iNk AnYwAyS?”
“Oh, he is doing alright now, but he was devastated when you suddenly disappeared, he looked for you for weeks”
“I fEeL sO bAd FoR jUsT dIsApPeArInG wItHoUt TeLlInG hIm”
“If I ever see him again I will let him know that you are ok and if you want I can tell him that you are here”
“YeAh, I wOuLd LiKe FoR yOu To Do ThAt”
“Alright”
“YoU aLsO sAiD yOu WeRe ThInKiNg AbOuT mE?”
“Oh, yeah about how much stuff we have in common with each other”
“LiKe WhAt?”
“We are both the middle aged sibling, we both have two siblings, we are both in an asylum, we both have problems, no offense to you in any way”
“No OfFeNsE tAkEn, AnD nOw ThAt YoU mEnTiOn It, YoU aRe RiGhT, wE dO hAvE tHiNgS iN cOmMoN wItH eAcH oThEr”
“While me and Nightmare have like nothing in common with each other that I know of”
“ThAt DoEsN’t MaTtEr, I mEaN mE aNd InK aRe OpPoSiTeS aNd We GeT aLoNg JuSt FiNe, AnD wE bOtH lOvE eAcH oThEr No MaTtEr HoW mUcH tHiNgS wE dOn’T hAvE iN cOmMoN”
“Yeah that is true”
“MaYbE yOu ShOuLd FiNd OuT hOw MuCh ThInG’s YoU bOtH hAvE iN cOmMoN aNd HoW mUcH tHiNgS yOu DoN’t”
“Yeah I should do that”
“YeAh It MiGhT hElP yOu BoTh, AnYwAyS WhAt Is YoUr ReLaTiOnShIp WiTh NiGhTmArE rIgHt NowW?”
“Well, just yesterday we became more than friends”
“YeStErDaY?”
“Well…………………. Yeah, but we have been through a lot before yesterday”
“WhAt HaVe YoU bEeN tHrOuGh?”
“Well…………………….. We have meade out a good few times before yesterday”
“Oh CoOl……………………………………...WAIT WHAT??????????”
“That was loud”
“SoRrY”
“It’s ok”
“We ShOuLd GeT bAcK tO oUr RoOmS”
“Right, Nightmare is probably awake and wondering where I am”
“YeAh, HoW dId He AcT wHeN yOu CaMe BaCk YeStErDaY?”
“He was apparently really worried about where I was, and when I went up to the door he opened it”
“WoW”
“Yeah, anyways I guess I will see you later?”
“YeAh, MaYbE wE cAn Do ThIs ToMoRrOw?”
“Yeah, I would like that!”
“AlRiGhT, sEe YoU lAtEr CrOsS”
“Bye Error”. Afte I said that we both went our separate ways to get to our rooms and when I got to the room I share with Nightmare I stopped there for a little bit before opening the door. When I walked in I saw Nightmare sitting down on his bed and he looked kinda mad and sad.
“Are you ok Nightmare?”
“Were you with Error again?”
“Yeah, why?”
“What is he to you?”
“A friend”
“Have you known him from before yesterday?”
“Yes”
“How?”
“My brother Ink and him are good friends and they would sometimes come over to our place, and I would say hi to him every once in a while”
“Who is he to your brother?”
“Well, I know they both love each other even though they are only friends right now”
“Alright”
“Why do you ask”
“No reason”
“Wait……………………………….. Do you think I like him and not you? Do you think I would leave you for him?”
“............”
“You know I love you Nightmare”
“I know, I am just worried that you might end up leaving me”
“I will not leave you”
“How do you know you won’t?”
“Because I have never felt this way with anyone else before”
“How do you think you would feel about Dream if you hung out with him for a day”
“The same I feel with Error”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, Nightmare I only love you no one else, well except my brothers, but you know what I mean”
“Yeah, I guess”
“Me and Error only hang out because we knew each other before this place, and he likes to know how Ink has been doing, and his brothers as well”
“He has two brothers?”
“Yeah, two”
“Who are they?”
“Geno the oldest and Fresh the youngest”
“So Error is the middle sibling?”
“Yep”
“So similar to you and your brothers?”
“Yeah, and do you want to hear something funny?”
“Sure”
“Reaper has a crush on Geno”
“Wait, really?”
“Yeah”
“So two different families of three brothers, and two from each families like each other?”
“Yep, and me and Fresh are just friends”
“That’s funny………………… wait does Geno like Reaper?”
“Yeah he does, but he is a Tsundere so he acts like he hates him”
“Wonder when they will end up together”
“I always wonder that too”
“Well at least I know that you won’t leave me like others do”
“Of course”. After I said that I just went and sat on my bed while NIghtmare got off of his and sat down next to me. I smiled and leaned down on his shoulder, closing my eyes and relaxing. I felt him put his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him while he put his head on mine. I sighed in content, enjoying all of the time I get to hang out with Nightmare. I then remembered when Error said I should talk with him more to see what me and him have in common.
“Hey Nightmare?”
“Yes Cross?”
“Do you think we have any things in common?”
“I don’t know”
“Should we ask each other questions to find out if we do?”
“Sure, but we should do that later”
“Why?”
“We have to get to breakfast”
“Oh shi- I forgot about that!’. I said jumping up off of the bed and standing straight”

(Nightmare’s POV)

I chuckled at Cross’s behavior when I said we have to go get breakfast. I swear he is like a child. Then again I think it is adorable how he acts like a child. I wonder how he acts like this when he grew up in the kind of life he did. Unless it was Reaper who kept him like that, along with Chara. When I looked up at Cross he was standing next to the door.
“Are you ready to go now?”
“Oh, yeah sorry I was just thinking”
“Alright, lets go now I’m hungry!”
“Alright, alright let’s go”. I chuckled while standing up and Cross opened the door and we both walked out. When we both got there we walked up to the front of the line like we always do when we get here. Others glared at Cross but he gave them a death glare and they looked away from him. I smirked and looked at Cross and he looked up at me and I gave him a look of approval. He smiled at me and then looked at the choices he could choose for breakfast. I smiled at him and then I also looked at the choices I could choose for breakfast. After we both got what we wanted we went to our table that we always sit at. When he sat down he almost instantly started eating his breakfast. I sat down next to him but didn’t start eating right away. For a while I just looked at him from time to time. After a minute he noticed and looked over at me.
“Is there something wrong Nightmare?”
“Hmm, oh, um no nothing is wrong”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, I am sure Cross, don’t worry”
“Ok”. Once he said that he went back to eating his breakfast. I chuckled and started to eat my breakfast too.

I finally added Error! Geez, I took my sweet time adding him into here. Anyways, I am working on chapter 9. It will take a while but I will finish it soon. Oh, and for those who like lemons and stuff like that I am working on that and will be added into this story at some point. Idk when, but just so u guys know there will indeed be lemons and be prepared for them to be horrible bc I have never written a lemon before. I have only read them. Anyways I will stop taking ur time, bye.
