//Juliet's POV//

January 27th 1995

Today I woke up with great excitement! It was finally my 20th birthday!! I got up out of bed and headed to the kitchen and checked the clock over the oven 8:26 a.m

I should be able to call dad I don't know if he's home or on the road but might as well give it a try. I thought to myself

I quickly unplugged my phone from the charger and dialled dads number. The ringing continued and as I was loosing hope, I heard dad say "hello darling, happy birthday" I smiled that he actually answered.
"Hi dad, thank you for the birthday wish, are you home?" I asked "Only for a couple more hours, I'm heading to New York soon, why?" He replied
"Because you always said once I turned 20 I could come with you for one of the shows"  Dad sighed
"I don't know Juls, but how about you drop by the house before I go"
I was disappointed "okay I guess bye dad" as I hung up and placed my phone on the dresser before heading to shower

I got out of the shower and dried off, then I put on a cute pair of black jeans and a pink top, then curled my hair.

I grabbed my car keys and locked the door to my apartment before heading to the elevator to go to my car.

I reached the parking lot, then I went to my car my dad got me for my 18th birthday. I tried starting it but it didn't turn on "Dumb piece of shit" I said to myself before it actually turned on and I sighed of relief.

I got put on my seat belt, checked myself in the mirror, then started driving.
