Part 28

Smile (part 1)

//Juliets POV//

I had woken up due to the bright sun shining in my eyes ugh why didn't I close the blinds last night I thought as I looked over at a sleeping Shawn, he looked so peaceful, I couldn't help but smile

Shawn and I had gotten a few weeks off thanks to Vince, and we were at Shawns home in San Antonio

Shawns addiction has been getting slowly but surely better as time progress, it wasn't perfect, but it had gotten better then before

I had decided I should go shower as I slowly lifted myself off the bed but first I bent over and kissed Shawn on the cheek, I walked over to the dresser grabbing a pair of my shorts and one of Shawns wrestling shirts because his shirts were huge on me and I loved it

After I had showered I dried off and gotten dressed, I exited the bathroom and walked back into Shawns room, I wouldn't say it our room because it's not, since I don't live here

I noticed Shawn wasn't in bed so I assumed he's probably doing something downstairs, I sat on the edge of the bed and braided my mid-length hair

I walked downstairs and saw Shawn in the kitchen seems like he's making breakfast, man I really do love this man

I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist, I heard him chuckle as I stood on my tippy toes to rest my chin on his shoulders since he was a lot taller then me

"You know Shawn?" I said and he hummed before I sighed and continued

"Well since we are off for a few more weeks, how about we head over to your parents house? I mean you basically know my dad since you work with him, but I would love to get to meet your parents" I stated

He turned off the stove and turned to face me as he placed both of his hands on my hips and leaned in to kiss me, I obviously kissed back

"That would be lovely Juliet, my parents will love you" he said as he kissed my forehead before he picked up a plate and held it out

"Pancakes?" He asked with that cute smirk that gets me every time, I smiled as I nodded before grabbing the plate from Shawns hand and placed it in the table

We both sat down and ate our breakfast and had a decent conversation

//Shawns POV//

I was upstairs cleaning up my room a bit since it was messy until I heard the radio playing from the basement, I contemplated going down there and seeing what Juliet was doing

I walked down to the basement to see Juliet dancing around the pool table I had recently bought while taking aim and hitting one of the striped balls into the top left hole

I got to admit, I just stood there and admired her beauty, she was beautiful

She jumped up in joy until she saw me standing in the doorway that lead to the room with the pool table

I walk up to her and wrap my arms around her waist from behind, I heard her giggle as I smiled and I made a trail of kisses from her neck to her shoulder
