Part 14

It's a date

//Juliets POV//

I woke up to my dad missing from the bed beside me in our hotel room, I just assumed he was at the hotel gym working out before we leave for Arizona for smackdown

I decided to order food so when dad got back we can eat then leave since before I went to the bar last night, I packed up all our things so we can leave as soon as possible

The food got here, but I was missing one thing my dad. I decided to call him, ringing continued and he didn't answer

Well that's very odd I thought to myself, I looked around the hotel, all his stuff was still here so obviously he didn't leave to go to the airport, I gave up and just decided to eat by myself.

After I'd say an hour my dad finally came through the hotel door, I was watching cartoons, my dad and I loved watching cartoons, for my dad being the badass scary man he's known as on television, he's like a little kid on the inside. Fun. But he hasn't been like his normal self since mom died

"Where were you dad?" I asked looking how at my very very tall dad

"I was out, none of your concern tho Juls. Personal stuff" he said with a small smile on his face

"So I ordered food, it's in the microwave, while you eat I'll finish packing some things up before we head to the airport" I said as dad nodded and heading for the microwave.

After dad ate and I finished up we were finely at the airport boarding the plane, when Paul Bearer comes out if nowhere and asks my dad to follow him to show him this 'very cool thing' he found

"I'll be right back Juls say right here" my dad said following Paul

I turn my head to watch my dad leave and the next thing I know I have the heart break kid Shawn Michaels standing right in front of me

"Well well well, if it isn't Shawn Michaels" I said sarcastically as I smiled

"Like my distraction to get your father away from you?" He said raising an eye brow

"That was you!" I said as I lightly slapped his chest, him being the drama queen he is, he pretended like he was shot

After he was done pretending he smiled back at me

"Of course it was me darling, I needed to ask you something" he said

"And what may that be mr.sexyboy?" I said as I looked confused at him

"When we get to Arizona, I want to take you on a date! Just me and you, what do you say Juls?" He said turning a little red

"Well I don't like how you got Paul to distract my dad, but it was clever of you" I said teasing him, he pouted at me and looked sad

"Fine I'll go on the 'date' with you Shawn" I said smiling

"Great see you in Arizona sweetheart" he said as he left me all alone to wait for my dad to come back.

"What's was Michaels doin?" He said in concern

"Nothing just talking shit like always dad, nothing new" I said trying to convince him, he seemed pretty convinced but how am I supposed to know, I don't

~4 hours later~

We arrived in Arizona finally, I was actually very excited for my date with Shawn then my phone vibrated

Unknown number: Juliet? Is this your number, this is Shawn

Juliet: yes this is me Juliet, how did you get my number?

Shawn: I have my ways sweetheart;)

Juliet: whatever, where are we meeting?

Shawn: I'll pick you up at your hotel at 6 okay?

Juliet: okay it's a date, bye!

Shawn: bye bye darling, see ya soon!

I put my phone in my back pocket and sighed I can't wait, I wonder what tricks he may have up his sleeve I thought to myself.
