"... she wasn't meant to be apart of this. I couldn't have this... not on my watch that is,"

It had been a three days since Theo went all dad mode on me and I couldn't help but break down after giving him such little information. Theo was that someone who I held close to my heart. He was my savior, my laughter and happiness.
Without him I was just a wondering soul.
Business at Jacob's Cafe was okay. We were busy some days and some days we wasn't. It was a nice flow since we had our peak time being busy around lunch time that lasted right to our closing time at 8PM. Today was Friday which meant that we were able to close the cafe early.
We had an hour to kill so I did the errand of wiping down the tables. It didn't take Theo long to come out of the staff room in a frantic state. He looks around the open space before meeting my eyes. He clicks his fingers and walks over to me,
"Scar you need to do something for me,"
He spoke with urgency. I stand tall with a damp cloth in hand and don't say anything other than give him a look of question,
"What?"
I blurt out, confused by his words. He doesn't hesitate to suck his lower lip and shove his hand into his jean pocket, fishing out a bunch of random things. He pulled out loose change, a few black paperclips, a pen and a few scrunched up paper.
I look down at the table only to catch him hastily grab the pen, click it open and flattened out the scrunched up paper. Instead of sitting down like a normal human being he simply bent in half, giving his full attention on the the crippled piece of paper.
He wrote something, more specifically numbers that sparked my attention. It wasn't just any random number, it was specifically a mobile number. Once he was done he slid the paper over, allowing me to read the numbers,
4 6 7 - 6 7 2 - 0 1 0 8
I look back at him with confusion,
"What's this?"
He shakes his head, quickly clearing away the small mess he created,
"There's no time to explain. You need to remember that number Scar like your life depends on it,"
I look back down at the paper, my finger tracing the medium-sized numbers. I tilted my head to the side asking another question,
"Why? Who's number is this?"
Eventually my eyes laid back on his stress-filled face, only coming to see him shake his head. He bit his lower lip, clearly trying to think of an answer. In the end he said,
"It's my back-up number for above-the-meter emergencies. You know... the one where you feel like your life depends on it,"
He points at the number and continues,
"You call that number and you've got me sending a flock of people on a search party for you. Wherever it may be,"
I raised an eyebrow,
"You sound confident in your words,"
For a second I see his face pale before it became void. His expressions made me even more curious so I pressed on the matter,
"What if I don't want too? I mean... I'm not obliged to remember it,"
He hissed through his teeth, his fists balled til it turned white. He looked at me like his life depended on my words. He licked his lips pressing on the matter,
