Y/n POV
Buckbeack slowly began lowering me and harry. As we finally came to a stop,my uncle began congratulating us and buckbeack while everyone was applauding.

"How am i doing on me first day?"my uncle whispered to harry and i. I gave him a smile and thumbs up. "Brilliant!
Professor," harry replied.

"That was amazing Y/n, although i probably would've chickened out if it wasn't for you" harry told me. "I doubt it Harold,but im always here to show you some fun things when ur tense" i smiled.

"Thanks Y/n, by the way, do you-" he was cut off by the drama queen yet again.

"Yeah,still not dangerous at all are you?" Draco spat approaching buckbeack. "Malfoy, no" my uncle warned in a low voice. But still draco added "you great ugly brute" he sneered. Oh your donzo now mate.

Buck beackbeack whined and slashed draco's arm with his claw. "Whoa! Buckbeack! away, you silly creature!" My uncle yelled throwing a ferret in another direction for buckbeack to run to.

"Ah,ah, its killed meh! Its killed meh" draco whined. Like i said drama queen. "Calm down its just a scratch!" My uncle panicked trying to calm him down. "Should've slashed his bloody chest" i mumbled,but apparently not low enough. My uncle was just about to tell me something until hermoine cut in.

"Hagrid! He needs to be taken to the hospital" hermione shouted. Where he should be taken is off a bloody cliff.
"Well im the teacher i- actually" my uncle looked at me. No bloody way. "Y/n would you be so kind as to take Mr Malfoy to the infirmary?"he asked know i couldn't object. "Ofcourse" i layed a fake smile.

I wrapped draco's arm across my neck for support and began walking him to the infirmary. He was whining and i really wanted to throw myself a train. We got far enough so nobody could see. "I know what trick your playing you git, you could stop faking."i told him while rolling my eyes.

"What are you-" before he could say anything i cut him off by letting him go. He stood perfectly fine. " Im not dull draco,but seeing as your still bleeding we still have to go to the infirmary" i was too irritated to be mean.

"Wait,but I insulted you,your friends and your mom..why are u helping me?"he asked confused. "If i hated you for what you said forever,i would waste time and energy. And everybody deserves a second chance to redeem themselves" i replied.

He seemed shocked but a smile crept his face. "Ok before i do what I'm about to do,i want to aplogize for everything i said to you" as he walked past a bush. "What are you doing?" I asked confused as he walked back infront of me. "Hello,im malfoy, Draco Malfoy,you can call me draco" he said reaching out his hand. "Ohhhh, pleasure to meet you draco,my name is Y/n bennet" i caught on shaking his hand.

"Draco,your still bleeding!" I quickly rushed to find some medical herbs to slow the bleeding and calm the pain. Thankfully,i always carried a special ointment tube. I used a spell to bled the herbs i to the ointment tube and carefully rubbed it on his arm.

"This should help until we get to madam pomfrey" i told him and rushed him to the wing. "Madam pomfrey! Draco accidentally got attacked by a hippogriff!"i called to her. "Oh quickly my darling bring him here!,has someone already tended his wound?" She asked confused.

"Oh yes,i made an ointment to calm the pain and temporarily stop the bleeding." I said as she began healing his wound and wrapping a bandage on it. "This is Amazing Ms bennet! Would you like to be my assistant? I could use experience like yours to tend some of these patients, when you are not busy with class ofcourse and i can get you passes on all homework." she asked politely. She had me at homework pass. "I would love
Too!"i responded smiling.

"Well i have to get back to class, see you later madam pomfrey,take care draco" i waved and left.

It was time for dinner. And i was completely starving. I spotted leah and my favorite Gryffindors. "Hey guys" i waved and sat down serving myself. They all waved and and smiled. "Where where you! i saw you after our last class you disappeared!" Leah shouted. Something definitely happened while i was gone. "I've been helping madam pomfrey take care of some of her patients,i get a pass on homework and extra points on my owls! Why? Did i miss something?"i asked.

"YES! Seamus asked me out!" She squealed. "No bloody way!" I almost spat out my water. "Merlin! That's great!" I added. We continued gossiping. And i told leah and the trio about everything that happened with the Draco. Harry didn't say anything,he just slammed his food in the table and left. while hermoine was yelling at me and ron just looked disappointed.

Was what i did that bad?

Leah gave me an apologetic look,im glad i can count in her to support me when i needed it. I smiled back,and then she tapped my shoulder and pointed out to the corridor where harry had left. I knew exactly what i had to do.
