Chapter 10: H-Happy?

(Oliver's Pov)

An hour before the game started, me and the team were getting ready and goin over the game plan. However, I didn't see Echo which kinda worried me...maybe she backed out, maybe somethin happened...I worried for that girl more than I should but I can't help it...I just want her ta be happy...she deserves the world.

A few minutes later, I walked out of the boys locker room and saw Echo which made me smile and let out a sigh in relief. She walked up ta me and told me she was nappin and must've overslept but I told her not ta worry cause the game starts in an hour so she was basically right on time which made her giggle which I loved hearin.

I told her ta follow me which made her nod and pick up her cat Simone as I showed her the Gryffindor Main Area where my teammates were and where we go over game plans. She looked around and smiled at the place which made me smile as I introduced her to the team.

She got embarrassed though as I made sure the others would play nice and treat her kindly. I told Echo ta have a seat while me and team went over the game plan since we're up against Slytherin who love cheatin and I don't stand by that. Not at all.

After me and the team went over the plans, they headed out to the field where I stayed with Echo who looked...distracted. I smirked as she got up from her seat and set Simon on the couch who got comfortable. I told her I should head out which made her wish me good luck but that's when my master plan started to take place.

I went to walk out, but I turned back around, walked up to Echo, cupped her cheeks and just kissed her. She froze for a good moment until she started to kiss back which made me chuckle. Her lips were so soft and warm against mine. My heart pounded and stomach knotted up, I've been wantin ta do that for so long.

I pulled away which made Echo's breathin shudder a little. I couldn't help but smirk and ask her that if I win, I wanna take her out on a date which just made her nod as I walked out and got ready for the game and only hoped that Echo was cheerin us on.

(AFTER THE GAME)

When the game finally ended, Gryffindor won thanks ta Harry. I could only smirk as I had Echo ta thanks for that. I guess that kiss was more than I needed ta win and now because of it, I'm takin her out which I was excited for.

We headed back to the main area where Echo smiled and told us we did well...although the others were confused on why she cheered for us and not her house which she said were cheaters and pricks which made me laugh a bit as the others headed out to freshen up.

I waited though because I wanted to talk to Echo alone. All of a sudden Echo threw herself in my arms which took me by surprise because she's normally hesitant with touch but for her to hug me like this? Must be some major process and that I'm proud of...

However, I was all sweaty and gross so I was a bit embarrassed I didn't freshen up but she didn't care nor did she judge. I thanked her for helpin me win which made her confused but I told her that kiss was magical which made her blush and smiled shyly.

She then asked if she was my lucky charm which I said it seemed like it but hey, if kissin her makes me win then I'll sure gladly always kiss her before a game. Echo suddenly felt shy and looked at the ground which made me smirk and put my finger under her chin and lifted it to make her look at me.

I asked her about the date tonight which made her agree to goin. I told her I'd be at the Slytherin house in a couple of house which made her nod as I gently kissed her lips which always made me feel like I was on cloud 9 and walked away to freshen up. I took a long shower, put back on my school clothes and headed up to my dorm to get ready for my date.
