Chapter 9: D-Date? R-Really?

(Echo's Pov) *SAME DAY*

I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shining directly in my face, I groaned and sighed as I covered my face to try and block out the light. Simone meowed which made me sigh as I sat up and rubbed my face tiredly. I looked at the time seeing it was 3pm which made me sigh and yawn a bit.

I looked at Simone who purred and rubbed against me which made me smile and pet her head "Thanks for waking me up" I said, she mewed which made me smile as I just remembered Oliver's game this evenin which meant soon.

My eyes widen "Shit. I'm gonna be late" I said as I quickly hopped out of bed and slid on my shoes "Come on Simone!" I shouted which made her meow as we raced out of my room and out of the Slytherin house and outside of the castle.

I knew Oliver would most likely be at the Stadium so me and Simone quickly ran to the stadium where the Instructor Madam Hooch was and some other Quidditch players. I panted out of breath and looked around for Oliver.

I waited a few moments to not only catch my breath but to wait for Oliver incase he was changin. I heard the sound of a door openin and closin and Oliver appearin in his Quidditch uniform. I smiled and sighed in relief as I walked up to him. He looked at me and smiled "Ah there ya are Darlin. I was startin ta worry" He said,

I blushed shyly "S-sorry I was nappin and woke up kinda late" I said bashfully. He chuckled and shook his head "Not a problem. Game starts in an hour so you're right on time" He said, I smiled softly and giggled which made him smile "Here. Come follow me" He said, I just nodded and picked up Simone and followed Oliver to the Gryffindor Area where him and his team plan out strategies for Quidditch.

I couldn't help but smile and look around seein a chalkboard for said strategies and a nice couch and chairs. Even a coffee table and tv to watch the game live (please correct me if I'm wrong on this. Idk what that kind of area is called or how to describe it. I'm sorry! I could look back at the movie but I don't wanna) I giggled and smiled "This is nice" I said,

Oliver smirked as I saw a group of others around the area which made my eyes widen a bit and hold onto Simone a bit tightly but gently which made her meow a little. Oliver looked at me and smiled softly "Here come meet the team. Don't worry they're perfectly harmless" He said probably noticin the fear on my face, I just nodded as I stayed close beside him and walked with him up to the others.

They all stopped talking and looked at us...well mainly at me which made my heart race...I hated attention more than anything oh no..."oohhh Ollie's brought himself a girl" One orange hair boy said "It's a Slytherin girl too I noticed" the other said seeing as they were twins.

I blushed with embarrassment "Now lads and lassie's I'd like ya ta meet Echo Zabini. She's gonna be hangin out here while we go play. She's very sweet and nice so behave please? Echo these are my teammates Harry Potter, Fred and George Weasley, Katie Bell, Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet" He said introducing me to them,

I smiled shyly and waved which made them smile softly "Alright. Darlin' why don't you have a seat. I'm gonna go over the plans for today's game" He said, I just nodded and sat in one of the chairs they had which made Oliver smile as he headed up to the front to talk about the game plan for today.

I couldn't help but get lost in him just talking strategies. He looked so handsome when he was not only focused on beatin the Slytherin team but feelin so passionate towards it too. I couldn't help but smile as the team chanted which snapped me from my thoughts.

The team headed out to the field leavin me with Oliver. I set Simone on the couch who instantly started to knead on it and lie down. I giggled and shook my head a bit which made Oliver chuckle "well I should probably get out there" He said,
