TW: uh, not too bad but mentions of blood and it's a little gruesome.

"Look all I'm saying is that I'm not so sure that this is the way to go. How can we be certain that they," the demon nods towards the tied up group of civilians, "even like the taste of deer kidney?"

The angel looked towards the demon, suppressing a look of surprise.
"Have you ever met a being that doesn't like deer kidney? It's fiiinnneee."

The demon rolled their eyes before turning to force feed portions of the deer to their hostages pets guests.

"Just, make sure to cook it all the way through. They have funny little immune systems." The angel continued.

The demon froze. The bucket fell to the ground, allowing the remainder of the deer parts to escape into the soil.

"I'm sorry, did you say cook? As in, the deer was supposed to be dead?" The demon asked, not yet moving to face the angel.

The angel's eyes widened, before flicking down to the deer parts that continued to drag their way through the soil, leaving a small bloody trail.

"You... you fed them live deer chunks? From a... live deer."

The demon didn't respond.

"A living dear? ...What did you do with all the liquid?!"

"I made cordial! I thought we could have a picnic after!"

"That isn't how you make cordial."

"Isn't it?" The demon picked up the bottle of 'cordial' by their feet. "It sure looks like it."

"But it isn't!" The angel knocked the liquid from the demon's hands, "And now you've gone and given these stupid souls rabies or something."

"Can you get rabies from deer?"

"I- Probably! That is not the lesson you were supposed to learn from today."

"What was the lesson?"

The angel pinched the bridge of their nose, fed up with the demon's stupidity.

"How to plan a standard mortal party."

A/N: Finally! Something I wrote this year. Not that it wasn't written at midnight...
It's based on the type of conversations I have with a friend of mine, but mixed with the sweet high of the night, it might be a little different.
I hope you enjoyed.
Be sure to embrace your inner divine being.

Sincerely.
Mac.
