Aki listened to the soft rain that lightly tapped on the roof, the professors voice loudly erupting his thoughts as he began to take notes again. His mind constantly wandered- wandered to the to the girl who sat in the rain. He wondered if she was still there, if she still had his umbrella, if she was made happy by his act.
Stopping his thought process was the light tap on his shoulder. He looked to his right to Serena, she slid a note for him to read.
"You look distracted, everything okay?"
Aki wrote down on the paper in response with his pen.
"Yeah, the rain makes my mind wonder."
Serena quietly chuckled and wrote back.
"Leo was right... you are a romantic~ (*≧ω≦)"
Aki, a little moody for being teased again, wrote back.
"Pay attention to the lecture now, also the emoji was unnecessary."
Serena smiled smugly at Aki and went back to taking notes on the lecture.

When class was over Serena and Aki where the first ones to get up and leave. They where headed to the meet up with Leo.
They both walked not to far in the streets of New York to a small corner Cafe, one that looked almost forgotten in the big city.
The two went in, a bell jingling at the door, Leo was already seated at a four person table.
"Took you long enough you two!" Leo yelled from across the shop.
They both ignored their embarrassing friend while they went to the counter to get drinks.
"I'll have a... iced chai," Aki told the barista.
"Iced?! Aki, you're really going to have a cold drink in this cold rainy weather?" Serena commented, judgment lingering in her voice.
"Yes, hurry and order now or Leo will start yelling again."
"Okay, okay I'll have a warm mocha."
They both paid and went to the table Leo was sitting at.
"Ugh why does it have to be so gloomy today..." Serena stated while sitting down next to Leo and sighing.
"I know right, practice will be hell, if it's not canceled. I always hate bad weather," Leo replied.
Aki sat opposite of Serena, "well I happen to like the rain."
"There's you and your positive opinion... what's so good about the rain?" Serena remarked.
Before Aki could reply a loud crash could be heard at the back of the store. The three turned their heads in response to the sound, they faced a table at the back of the Cafe.
A man stood up, his chair was laying on its side caused by the man kicking it down. The man was facing a girl who sat in the other chair at the table, she was completely oblivious, or just unimpressed, with the death glares the man was giving her.
Not long after, the man shouted far all to hear, "YOU WHORE!" And slapped the girl so hard across the face she stumbled off her chair.
It was at this point Leo and Aki were out of their chairs trying to stop this man.
"This is none of your damn business, get off of me!" The man yelled as Leo forcefully pushed the man away from the girl, "that bitch deserves it!"
The staff were also out repeating, "sir your disrupting our cafe, I'm going to have to ask you to leave."
