Sofia's POV:
It was early morning, maybe 7:30-ish, when I wake up to the sound of knocking coming from my large pocket door. "Who is it?" I say drowsily.
"It's me, Baileywick, Princess Sofia. Your mother and father had me wake you for urgent business down in the throne room. They ask that you get ready and meet them there as soon as possible."
"Okay, Baileywick, thank you," I reply sleepily. I hop out of bed and go to my closet. I search drowsily for a dress to wear that day when a voice interrupts my train of thought.
"What are you doing up at the crack of dawn, Princess?" Clover awoke.
"My parents said something about urgent business. In the throne room. So I have no time to talk right now, but I can later, Clover."
"Okay, Princess, and I'm holdin' you to that. Also, fill me in on the scoop."
I laughed, "Okay, see you later."
I decided on a plum purple dress with cream-colored accent beads here and there instead of my usual lavender gown. To go with it, a pair of cream pumps, and to top it off, my habitual tiara. Just to keep things somewhat normal in-case whatever "urgent business" that's spoken downstairs is not so normal.
I walk to my mirror as to examine the finished product. My hair was shining from the light above; it was no longer short nor a light, auburn brown. It was now a tad darker (not that anyone could tell) and came down to about four inches below my shoulders. Be that as it may, it still holds its natural curls.
As for Amber and James, they were taller and more developed. We've all matured, though we still love to do the crazy yet fun stuff we had always done.
I head to the stairs to slide down the railing and think to myself: if I wasn't already awake, then I am now.
When I arrive at the throne room, I spot Mom, Dad, Amber, and James seated in their thrones. Amber's is the flashiest, of course.
"Well, it's about time you got here. We've been waiting forever." Amber said, dragging out the 'ever' part for effect.
"Oh, Amber," I say with a giggle as I roll my eyes and take a seat on my purple throne.
"So Daddy, what's the urgent news that couldn't wait till I got all my beauty sleep?" Amber asks sleepily, but somehow still in the sarcastic tone that she is oh so known for.
"I'm sorry, Amber. But this just couldn't have waited till you decided to wake up at noon,"Dad said in return.
"Yeah, Amber, not everything revolves around you," James vocalized with snark.
"James, don't even start with me today! I am not in the mood to deal with your childish antics," Amber added in response to his less than princely comment.
"Oh, you just had to add your two cents into
th—""That's enough, you two. Let your father speak," Mom piped in before James could finish his thought.
"Now that the both of you are finished with your bickering, I can tell you the urgent news. The royal sisters of Arendelle are coming to visit over the winter break, as you are not in school."
"Oh. My. GOSH!" Amber squealed. "I've always wanted to meet them!"
"Calm down, Amber. Don't get ahead of yourself. Since that's out of the way, here is what we're going to do. Amber and Sofia will plan a banquet for the pair when they come."
"Ooh, this is so exciting!" Amber chimed in before Dad was finished.
"Anyways, don't make the get-together feel too much like they are at home because they will want to experience Enchancia and its' customs in all its' glory. James, you will be in charge of Sven, the reindeer. You will make sure you take extra care of him. I'm trusting you with this. So get to it!"
Our father released us after his final words. Amber and I went opposite of James to figure out our plan for the banquet.
