"Do you lived here in Hokkaido?" she asked. "Or you just like move here?"
"I moved." He simply answered, while drinking a carton of milk. "I moved here like a year and half ago."
"Why? There must be a reason for that."
Hanse stopped, "My future is not in Seoul. That's why i moved here. Thinking, i'll find it here. I will find my future, my happiness."
"Oh, that was somehow deep. Like Felix's voice, haha!" she commented.
"Who's Felix?"
"Ah, one of my friends boyfriend's bestfriend. He has a low and husky deep voice."
"That seem scary..." Hanse whispered.
"You're wrong. Even though he has those voice, he was a bubbly lil' bean. Like, a ball of sunshine."
Who wouldn't love Lee Felix? He's handsome, kind, talented, good at beatboxing, and cooking like a chef he's a five star michelin.
"Girlfriend? Do you have a girlfriend?"
Hanse chuckled and he scratched his head, "i... i don't have any."
He was thankful because Shan is blind (not like he want her to be blind forever tho). If not, it would be very embarassing because his face and ear is turning red like a ripe tomato.
If you were a guy, is it embarassing if you still doesn't have a girlfriend at the age of twenty-three?
"Why?" she asked, looking at him. "You still haven't try to court a girl? Or to like atleast?"
"W-Well, i have this girl who i really love. It was their school's intramurals and my friend who was a professor there invited me. And i met her there. Her beauty and personality caught up my interest. So, i asked my hyung if he knows that girl. Gladly he said yes because it was her student."
Whoa, that girl must be so gorgeous. Also, he's lucky because his friend knows that girl. He can easily asked him what's her name or something about her.
"I fell in love with her. You know that feeling? That the surroundings starting to became blurred and my eyes were only focused on her. I felt like the world just stopped, the time became slower."
"Ah, i know that feeling. I've felt that too when i was on high school. That feeling... was so lit. I can't believe that it can actually happened in our lives. But my dead ass bitter friend told me that it wasn't real."
That friend of Shan never got a boyfriend ever since because she's dead ass bitter and doesn't like having one.
More on, she was the student who needs to study first before entering a relationship. Even though sometimes she ditched class just to hang out by herself at the coffee shop near the school.
"My world stopped for the second time when my hyung told me that she already have a boyfriend. He said, i should stop my feelings for her."
Stopping a romantic feelings is so hard. It's hard to erase and forget the person who you really loved the most. It probably takes months and years. But some people can't do that.
"But i didn't listen to him. I started sending her letters, chocolates, flowers, teddy bears secretly with the help of my another friend whose studying there. No one knew that except from the two of us. It took me a year doing that stuff. She doesn't have a clue that it was me who is sending that. But it stopped when i found out that she already leaved Korea."
"That must be a melancholic feeling." Shan commented, as she was quietly listening to Hanse's sad story about his first love.
"I started to lose hope. Thinking, i will not able to see her again. At that time, i tried to forget her, to forget my deep deep feelings. But years have passed, i realized that i still love her. I am still in love with her."
Hanse was tearing up, trying not to create a noise because he doesn't want Shan to know. Crying silently is painful.
It proves that Hanse really loved that girl so much.
