I shift my eyes away from the Mandalorians helmet and see a large crowd of people. The crowd is dressed in different blue and brown clothes and they watch us with wide eyes.

Mando has already scooped the child up, he sits in his arms and watches everyone around him with excitement. My eyes scan around the crowd when I see a movement and turn my head back to look for the source, Mando is holding out a gloved hand to me. I stare at it for a moment before I take it, feeling a tingle where our hands touch. I let him help me stand, the nerves that I feel when I'm around Mando fire back up again. I'm hoping it's not obvious. I duck my head slightly to try and cover the blush with my ginger hair. I knew that he was strong, obviously, he's strong, but I didn't realise how strong until he helped me up. I almost felt weightless. He keeps his fingers intertwined with mine as we walk off the speeder, I know I definitely can't keep myself from blushing now. Mando steps off the speeder first and uses his hand to help me down from it. I smile shyly at him "Thanks" I say almost as shyly.

My brain can't comprehend how much of a gentleman he is, he never fails to amaze me with his hidden kindness. A kindness he apparently only shows me and the kid.

In response, Mando just nods his head. My black boots hit the dusty floor and Mando is forced to release my hand as the kid suddenly starts to struggle furiously to escape his arms. Little green arms flail around and shrill shrieking escapes the kid as he struggles. Mando manages to get the kid under control and he gently places him on the dusty ground. As soon as his small feet hit the floor, he's spotted a blue butterfly to chase around. I managed to hold my laugh in before, but when he runs off chasing the bug, I can't hold in my laugh anymore, all the fuss for a freaking butterfly. I let out a soft laugh as the kid plays. Mando turns to look at me when I laugh, I've noticed that whenever I laugh he always looks at me, like he's interested in my laugh or something. My hand that Mando was just holding feels electric, I feel myself tensing and flexing my hand, to relieve some of the tension that built up.

Once the kid is safely placed on the floor Mando straightens up and turns to me and Cara, he speaks as he looks around the crowd of excited villagers "Well, looks like they're happy to see us" Cara looks at him and agrees "looks like it" I look between them and break the normal silence I assume, "Well, if my village was getting attacked by raiders and someone was coming to help, I would be happy to see them too" my voice sounds nonchalant and I shrug my shoulders. Cara looks at me, flicking her beautiful brown hair over her shoulder as she does. "She's got a point" I smile at Cara and I notice that Mando nods his head. Damn, I wish I could just understand what he's thinking.

As I'm looking at him the warm, yellow sun reflects off his beskar helmet. I love it when that happens, it looks so beautiful. As I'm lost in thoughts again someone comes to show Cara to her lodging. I distractedly wave goodbye to her and watch the kid run around. He looks so utterly happy and I smile at this until he finds a small frog in the grass and attempts to shove it down his throat. I grimace and groan in disgust, this makes Mando follows my eye line and find the kid trying to eat the frog alive. He points his gloved finger at the kid and scolds him "Hey, hey kid, spit it out. Come on" I always find it slightly funny when Mando acts all fatherly, it seems so out of character for a Mandalorian. The kid hears his voice and quickly snaps his head around to look at us, he almost facetiously he stares at Mando and continues to suck the frog down his throat. The frog soon ends up in the kids always hungry stomach, he grins cheekily and waddles away. Mando groans in disgust at the sight.

With the image of the kid swallowing the frog still going through my head, I shake my head slightly and try to shake the imagery, causing my ginger curls to ruffle and bounce slightly. I bring my eyes back up to Mandos helmet and watch him as he continues to watch the kid play, his hands tense nervously as the kid stumbles slightly. I watch as his gloved hands fidget and tense with mild worry for the kid.
