Chapter 21; Pheww!!

"Hey V." Elena says approaching me. I smile and embrace her in a hug,

"Hi, what's up?" I say, pulling away from the hug,

"Ya know, the usual. Same 'ole boring ass day at school." She shrugs and i chuckle turning to my locker to get out my books for Chemistry class.

"You should join a club." I suggest and she raises her brow and looks at me as if i told her the sky is falling.

"Hell no to the no." She scoffs, rolling her eyes.

"School wont be boring anymore." I shrug and walk to my class before the bell rings,

"How about we join drama club?" She smiles, clapping her hands excitedly.

I pause in my tracks and think about it. Hmm...drama class. I am not a fan of drama but i would love to try out a skill in acting.

"Actually, that's not a bad idea." I state smiling, noding in approval.

"I know right? You would be a Juliet and then get a handsome Romeo." She says, her hands looking dreamy.

"I'm sorry but i hate that play." I scoff, continuing in my tracks to my next class.

Elena gasps so loudly that students turn to look at her. I shake my head at her dramatic stunt.

Yep, she will definetely be a good actress.

"How dare you say that about the works of Shakespeare. I bet she is sending daggers at you, wherever she is buried." Elena scolds at me and i burst into fits of laughter,

"You are so dramatic, you know that right?" I raise a brow and she shrugs flipping her platinum hair over her shoulder,

"Oh darlin', i try." She states in a British accent and i laugh at her.

We bid our goodbyes as she heads to her English class and i head to Chemistry class. We promise each other to discuss more about our plans of joining Drama class during lunch.

I enter my Chemistry class, excited to see Kyle, but my breath hitches at the sight in front of me. Actually, i freeze.

Kendall is in front of Kyle, her arm on his shoulder and she seems to be flirting with him. Kyle looks like he is irritated and he also looks very very angry.

I take a deep breath and walk to my usual seat that is next to where they are and plop into it. On seeing me, Kyle pushes away Kendall a bit too agressively and she falls onto the floor crying out in pain.

Kyle then walks to my desk and pulls me up into his large arms embracing me. Look who started loving hugs more than i do.

"I missed you." I say into his chest, feeling his heart beat and the warmth emitting from him.

"I missed you too." He whispers huskily. I pull away smiling at him, a small one, and then take my seat once i hear the bell.

A small pang of an emotion courses through me. Jealousy. Yes, i was jealous. Seeing Kyle and Kendall standing close to each other. Kyle never speaks to anyone or ever wants to be around them except for me.

Is it right to be jealous?

I mean, its not like we are dating or are in a relationship so i dont need to be jealous, right?

I ignore Kyle for the rest of the class. Childish and immature, right? So many things are on my mind right now,

Dad wanting to divorce mam. I didnt know how to react to that. I realised it was a very rush choice at the moment. Dad loves mam so much and i could tell that decision was made to make us happy, especially me.
