All of a sudden as Gordon was about to hit me, an arrow shot through his ear, penetrating that massive lobe of his.

Gordon jumped at me covering me with his hands. I thought I was splattered by him, but he looked like he was defending me from something.

At the same time, a massive javelin was thrown, penetrating the wall that was behind me just seconds ago, hitting Gordon's hands hard.

Gordon smashed his fist on the ground, creating shockwaves and walls that covered me and him in a box. He was frightened just like I am, but I was wondering why he saved me. This disaster made my mind weak and dizzy.

Why would someone who almost killed me try to save me?

I could see him freaking out and being confused on what to do.

"Why'd you save me?" I asked in a frightened voice.

"Can't you see they're trying to kill you?" Gordon said as guns open fired all around the box.

Then, Gordon threw a card on me, "Here, This is will make you safe. It is one of the scientist's id card. He dropped it while running away. Act like him for now and blend in, we will be back for you."

"If you were trying to help me, why were you trying to kill me?" I asked in disbelief.

"Try to kill you? I was simply hurting you for what you've done to Alice... That's not important right now. My powers are draining, we haven't gotten much time until they break the box." Gordon stated as he continuously shrink down to his normal self.

I was shocked when I saw the id card, but I couldn't say anything else. I was so frightened in that desperate situation, I nostalgically asked about Gordon's safety.

"How about you? how will you escape?"

As soon as I asked that, Gordon smashed the ground, bringing me and him down four floors below.

The loud crashing sound alerted all the presence of the guards up above, so some of them can be heard running to a stairwell.

People were all over the place working, but they all panicked and ran when they saw Gordon.

Gordon ran for the windows on the farthest corner of the current floor away from the stairs. As he ran, he told me something, "We're going to wait for you... Z is waiting for you. Just find the Fang of the Dragon and bring it back to Reindar. Be alive by then!"

I was wondering what this Fang of the Dragon is all about, but I heard soldiers coming down fast. Gordon jumped out of the windows, escaping sight.

I hurried up and looked for things to make the act work. I saw a spare lab robe hanging by the counter-shelves, and a round glasses on top of an isolated desk. I put it on just in time to blend in with the panicked crowd when the guards came down.

The guards were followed by two weird individuals who wears funny costumes, probably their chiefs. One's a woman holding a bright sparkling bow that was so large it almost outsizes her body. The other one's a man holding a somewhat advanced techno-spear because the tip of the spear spins around on its own. In that man's back was another weapon strapped at his back, a Javelin.

The same Javelin that could've gotten me killed if Gordon didn't save me.

When I saw their badges around their shoulders, I knew they weren't like the others. They were more like elite soldiers only coming out if there was an inevitable threat in their surroundings, but those were just my theories.

I thought I was clear, but then the one with the spear at his hand shouted, "Everyone goes through me and tell me their names with their I.D cards shown!"

Everyone suddenly got moving and formed a line. The crowd pushed each other including me, out of it. The soldiers saw these and did nothing, while the two individuals with medieval weapons stood at the exit like statues. I was placed at the middle of the line, nothing out of the ordinary seems to be going on since everything was going smoothly.

From my spot, I couldn't see anything happening at the beginning of the line, nor could I see what's happening at the end of it. I began to feel nervous as my spot in line begins to get more closer to the beginning.

Instantaneously, one of the guards shouted, "Get in formation with your team members in your posts! doing it individually is slower than we thought!"

As soon as the guard said that, everyone rushed to a side with their former colleagues. I knew I was in trouble, but I was too late to act on it.

The one with the spear approached me vigorously, "You... the one with the coat! show me your I.D card!"

I handed it to him with my trembling hands. My whole body was quivering, but the guy paid no attention to me and seriously focused on the I.D.

I could tell he was shocked, but I didn't know why until he said this, "Professor, I am so sorry for the inconvenience."

I was shocked, and everyone else too when they heard it. That was beyond what I had hoped when he read the I.D. card that Gordon gave me.

"But I am a little bit concerned, what would a Secret Service Scientist (SSS) Chief be doing in the astrology department?" the guy asked with a suspicious but curious tone.

"I..." I mumbled.

I didn't know what to say. I can't think of anything when I am faced with someone who penetrated a wall as well as Gordon's hands with a mere javelin.

When the guy became more suspicious, the woman with the bow slowly approached us. She held his hand up and she swung it down hard, hitting the guys face.

"I am sorry for this fool's rudeness against your authority professor... I hope you can forgive him." The woman said as he slowly dragged the guy away from me by the ear.

Everyone feared the woman, but she wasn't scary by nature. She was only doing what she think is right.

The woman came back holding my I.D. card, "This is for you, Professor. I would like to introduce myself with you. I am Lauren Vannhover, part of the Council's Oracle Six.

"Oracle Six?" I wondered in my brain. I didn't know what that was, so I stood there in silence like a fox.

" The Blockhead with a spear there is Keith Vannhover, my brother...aaand you are?" She asked.

"Oh right! I'm Lucky..." I stopped. I blew my cover, I was supposed to say what was in the I.D. card's name.

"Yes you are Professor, every SS scientists are dead except you! So it is my top priority to escort you safely to the B.C. office, but first... may I know your name Professor? I didn't want to look at your I.D. card because I want to hear it straight out of your mout- I'm so sorry I mean't straight from you Professor!" She said with an uneasy smile.

This time I said my cover name as right as it could be, "My name is Jake...

Prof. Jake Lavendro..."
