Oh! forgive me for my late introductions. My name is Lucky DG. Wridge, 20 years old, and a full-time potion seller.

You see, my family's business is selling potions. That is why I sell potions for a living. I have met all the people in Eden except the council who never show their faces these days.

One regular day at work, I saw a beautiful girl walking towards my stall holding a pink umbrella with black stickers on it. In all my time in Eden, I have never seen her around.

She was saying something about a daylight potion, but I couldn't answer.

It was love at first sight. I felt something strange, it was like my body was heating up even though it was winter at that time.

I felt different and more alive than ever, but that feeling slowly faded away as the girl went away and vanished behind a large crowd.

I thought for sure I will never meet her again, but I was wrong.

Four weeks after I met the mysterious girl, I was starting to think it was all just a dream, but that dream became a reality after I saw her at the end of a deep, dark alley.

This time, what I saw will truly terrify you. I saw her standing there eating what seems to be like a wild dog. Her hands drenched in blood, her clothes covered in a substance I can hardly explain, but what truly caught my attention was her eyes. Red like the devil, yet the look on her eyes was like the look of someone who only knew pain.

People would probably just walk past her ignoring what happened or even run for their lives, but I was different. Instead of running, I steadily approached her.

Clenching my fists as she noticed me getting nearer. When she took a step back, she disappeared in the black mist behind her. I looked around hoping she didn't leave like the day I met her. I gathered all my strength as I entered the black mist.

For a minute I thought there was nothing there, but then I felt something warm touching my hand, it was her.

She pushed me back in a wall and she held both my hands pushing it back too. Her face just inches away from me. I could smell the blood of the creature she just ate.

"Tell me one reason why I shouldn't kill you?" she said.

Even though I can hardly talk, I can tell she was devastated. Deep down I knew she was hiding something that was tormenting her.

"Are you ok?" those exact words came out of my mouth without me even thinking about it.

When she heard what I said, she burst into tears. Holding my hand tightly, her lips touched mine. What was going on for seconds, felt like hours.

After what happened, a faint voice can be heard from her saying "Please help me..." before passing out on me.

Even though she was a stranger to me, I took her to my home where she slept for six days straight. "I kissed a stranger..." I said to myself as I got ready to go to bed.

It was the 7th day after I met the girl, and she was still asleep.

I sometimes think if she will ever wake up, but a part of myself was still hoping that she will. I didn't know her name, but I saw a tattoo on her right hand. It was a letter Z, that is what I temporarily called her.

It was the last day of work before summer arrives. I left the girl to rest and headed to my stall.

"What should I do in the summer?" I asked myself while still heading to my destination. As I was walking, I noticed something out of the ordinary in my neighborhood. Normally, kids would go outside and play at this time and hour.

Parents would be walking their dogs out to do their business, and the elderly would be jogging around the park. This time, no one was around except me. It feels like I was walking on an abandoned road. After all that, I safely reached my stall.

After a few hours, not a single soul would be found anywhere. I started to think that something was wrong, but I still waited for a few more hours if there's still someone outside.

After a few more hours, I decided to pack up my things and leave, but as I was getting started, I saw a group of black-suited people coming towards me. I was shocked. They were the councils' soldiers.

These people only come out if there is an imminent threat inside Eden.

Behind them was a man in a slick, black coat. In his hand was a familiar thing, a black umbrella with white stickers on top of it.

Right after I saw them coming closer, I looked up at the bright moon to not make me look suspicious about something.

"Have you seen someone that's not familiar to you these past few weeks?" said one guard. I quickly denied him.

"Have you seen anyone with a "Z" tattoo mark in their hand?" said another guard. I, too, quickly denied him.

Shivers were running down my spine. Sweat dripping from my face. I'm not good at lying, I never was. All I can think about was the safety of Z.

When I didn't cooperate with them, I saw their faces annoyed and filled with anger. I thought for sure I was done for, but the man in black stopped them from almost doing something to me.

"Let him go, " he calmly said.

"Go home now son, your family must be worried sick about you," He said before walking away.

I felt something odd about him. It was like he knew he can always get whatever he wanted.

When they were out of my sight, I quickly took my things and started running back to my house. I had a lot of questions in my head, and those questions are filled with other mysteries.

(Why were they the only other people outside?)

(Why do they want Z?)

(Why did the man in black let me go?)

(Is she still safe in my house?)

I put all those questions aside. I only hope that I can get to Z before they can.
