Tears streamed down at her pale face as she tightened her grip on her hair, causing a lot of strands to fall on the cold marble tiles of the floor.

She opened her eyes, still wondering why no one ever believed her.

She was more than sad. She wanted to disappear and never come back. She wanted to sleep underground until worms slowly start to eat every piece of her.

She wiped the tears on her swollen eyes and saw a tall figure open her room's door.

She squinted her eyes because of the blinding lights from outside, then a person sat in front of her and smiled genuinely.

As she was just about to be confused, a warm hug enveloped her, followed by a kiss on her forehead.

The man held her hand and spoke, "Let's go?"

The confusion faded when she realized she needed someone, anyone, to be by her side.

They walked though the light with their hands intertwined.

She never came back.
