{ No ones POV }

As the days went by, Dianna spent most of her time at the hospital by Sophie's side. The doctors were having a hard time putting a finger on what was causing this, all they could point out was that her heart wasnt functioning well.

{ Back to... Yeah whatever's happening right now}

Dianna leaned back into her chair, almost falling asleep. She hadn't gotten much sleep recently, and her body was begging to finally get to relax. Suddenly she felt Sophie tug on her sleeve making her quickly open her eyes. She took a hold of Sophie's hand, giving it a little squeeze.

"Dianna" Sophie says in a whisper.

"Yeah?" Dianna said moving the chair a bit closer to Sophie.

"Can you promise me something?"

"Yeah anything for you baby" She gave her a soft smile, giving her hand a little squeeze.

"Promise me you'll love again when I leave. Don't let me be the only one"

The words hung in the air like blades.

Dianna scrunched up her face. What is she talking about- When she leaves? No nononono... Snap out of it Dianna!

"W-what? No you aren't going to leave. You're getting out of here. Together with me by your side" Her voice cracking and faltering a bit at the end. Tears started to prickle her eyes.

Sophie sighs while making a sad expression, giving Dianna a look.

"Dianna... Please just promise me"

The blades still hanging in the air, threatening to make even more wounds.

Dianna gives in.

"Y-yeah okay of course" Forcing on a smile, Sophie was going to get out, so the promise didn't mean much.

Suddenly tears started to appear in Sophie's eyes, making her seem even more vulnerable that she already were.

Sophie lifts her hand up to cup Diannas face. Dianna leaning into her touch like it was the last ever.

"Don't waste those beautiful tears on me. Make good memories, before it's too late"

Again Sophie made one of those smiles that could make any concern, or worry melt away like it was nothing. Dianna felt happy in that moment, almost forgetting every worry.

Sophie hurriedly brushed the tears away in attempt to hide them from Dianna. Dianna let out a soft chuckle, almost choking on it afterwards due to the tears still pressing on.

Some days passed by. Sophie seemed to get more and more weak from everyday that passed. Deep down Dianna knew what was going to happen, but she couldn't let herself accept that. She couldn't let go of her.

As the other days, Dianna is once again sat besides Sophie. Sleeping peacefully, Dianna brushed her thumb over Sophie's hand.

Dianna makes a soft kiss on Sophie's hand, but quickly gets to her feet as she hears the heart monitor start beeping. Fear spreads through her body as she takes a look at Sophie. Dianna panicking hurries her way to the door, ripping it open as fast as she can. She yells out for a doctor, and quickly some emerge from a room nearby.

A tall man comes running into the room, shoving Dianna aside to take a look at the woman lying in the bed.

"Oh god" He whispers to himself, hurriedly making his way over to Sophie checking her pulse.
