[Re-written]{ Time skip to about two weeks }
Things weren't going great for Dianna, she had rented a hotel room due to being too scared to go home. She didn't want to face everything. The hotel room wasn't left much, only to buy food here and there, but that wasn't for much use anyways, since she had lost all kind of appetite.{Dianna POV}
Rain on the umbrella would usually sound relaxing, but in this one moment it felt tiring. Dianna was standing outside the church, looking down at Sophie's grave.Small roses were shattered across her grave making it seem kind of beautiful if it wasn't for the horrible truth lying underneath.
She looked at the gravestone, with the engraves written across.
Here lies Sophie Harper
May be gone, but will never be forgotten
~ Love ~Was written across the white gravestone. Sophie was never a big fan of things being overly dramatic, so Dianna got the gravestone made fairly simple.
It's really cold today. I wish you were here with me... Without you I feel lost.
Shifting a bit on her feet, she takes out a little black box from her jackets pocket. Because of the cold rain, her fingers were almost numb. The box was lined with gold petals, surrounding the box. Brushing her thumb over the finely painted petals, she opens up the box to expose a pretty silver ring with her name engraved into it...
She took a deep breathe.
"I still remember the day you proposed to me, I got so overwhelmingly happy that I wanted to cry. It was like a dream come true, but now it's just a memory in a nightmare..."Her arm falls back down her side putting the box back into her pocket. She spins around on her foot, and slowly starts making her way down the street, towards the bus stop. Time had felt so slow after Sophie left, like nothing happened. Like everything stopped, only feeling numb. What even was the reason to live, when the person you loved the most wasn't there anymore?...
Too tired to hold up the umbrella she closes it in a swift movement, and lets her arm fall down by her side. Rain began to drench her coat, seeping into her shirt, making her not only feel cold on the outside, but also inside.
You always loved the rain.. Running down the street, hand in hand laughing.
Like a storm, old memories suddenly started to overflow Diannas mind, crashing through.
I miss you.. I miss all of you. All the small things you did. How you scrunch up your face when you were confused, how your hair would frame your perfect face, how peaceful you looked when you were concentrating... How you would talk to me.. How your lips felt on mine...
Before going further into that thought, Dianna stopped herself, and thought of the rainy days they had spent together. The memories was still being crystal clear to her like it happened yesterday.
I was in a bad mood most of the day, and you kept on trying to make me feel better. It began to rain outside, and you got so excited that I couldn't say no. I could never say no to you. We were drenched in the rain, but you still laughed like it was the best day of your life. We kissed under the street lamps. The next day you had got an awful cold from all the time we had spent outside. But you still smiled and laughed with me....
