Setting: March 16th 2027. Haven City, Michigan...

The newly biggest city in Michigan, in all actuality it was becoming one of the biggest cities in the United States, rivalling New York City itself. Ever since the Maylay Anomaly changed Haven City into the ground zero for all things unnatural, a beacon for all things weird & supernatural, it attracted scientists, research analysts, & other daring people from around the world.

Quickly, Haven City grew. The new residents built skyscrapers a mile high. The formerly small town in the lower Michigan became a concrete jungle as far as the eye could see. In just three years the small town, only 76 square mile city stretched into a 300 square mile city, nearly mirroring New York City exactly.

Now I bet you are wondering, "Why Michigan?", "What is so special about Michigan?" And the answer is nothing. Six other small towns, cities, & other locations across the United States, strangely another one in the United Kingdoms, were also fallen victim to the Maylay Anomaly, oddly enough all on the same night... but that's not important, yet.

And all of the launch sites that were victim to the Maylay Anomaly became the original grounds for Zone Labs, with acting director & co-founder of the company, Kaine Markoff, leading the investigation on every single location of the Maylay Anomaly based in Haven City, Michigan.

Kaine & his team designed, & executed, buildings half a mile high, dedicated to finding the mysteries behind the Maylay Anomalies & the supernatural behind it.

Zone Lab's spectrometers calibrated an immense amount of radiation, it picked up a litter of energy that was capable of unlimited possibilities & resources. It located CMBR, Gamma Radiation, Ultraviolet Radiated Photon Particles, & Nuclear Pion Particles within the air, sand, & DNA in the corpses.

So in an attempt to deepen their understanding of the Maylay Anomalies, Zone Labs created a Particle Accelerator to nuclearly fuse the energy into one, or in other words, recreating the Maylay Anomaly. They called it the Storm Particle.

Director Kaine Markoff lost half of his staff that day, & the rest were infused with power so unimaginable. He immediately shut down all other productions of particle accelerators on their other bases & labs. Getting first person interactment of the Maylay Anomaly, he decided to dedicate his research into saving the victims.

Countless hours went into saving the victims of the Maylay Anomalies, & as if some miracle was laid upon Zone Labs, one man was able to recover, & from there, that man single handedly revived every single victim.

Curious as to how this man could do such feats, Kaine experimented on the man, he craved to understand how he was able to do so. But as the experiments continued, Kaine's hunger for power grew, turning him crazy.

Reminder while all of this happened, the city just continued to grow around them, millions of people swarmed into Haven City. The city grew three times as fast as New York, was just as big, & technologically enhanced.

But then, the first victim woke up from their self induced coma...

"Can we try to keep this out of the public's eye this time", Chase asked as he stepped out of a pitch black shadow cast down from a tower behind him. "We don't need another 'accident' on our hands".

"Then we should have brought the entire team", Wyatt said through an earpiece as he hovered above the dark city. "Remind me again, why isn't Devon, Eli, Asher, Alex, or Elizabeth here"?

"Unlike all of us, Devon & Eli weren't mind controlled by the Emperor, so they don't have the same training as us", Lara said, she stood on top of a building, looking out for the missing Titan. "They can't engage in physical combat, they can't use their powers as good as us, they can barely control them in all actuality".
