Part 13: Bad press

SANTANAS POV

I've just gotten back to the apartment and I decided I would go to the gym to pass some time. I went to get ready in a black tank top and nike sweatpants. I grab my headphones out of the drawer beside the bed. 

I walk down to the gym in my apartment building and walking in to find one other person there. A girl, around the same age as me on the treadmill. She looks at me and offers a gracious smile. I smile back so I don't come across as rude. I only come off as rude at work and with paparazzi.

I walk over to a different machine, I can't remember what its called. I start my music and then start working out. About 20 minutes later, the girl on the treadmill finishes and as I think she is about to leave, she turns back around and walks over to me. I pause my music and take out my headphones so I can hear what she is saying. 

"Hey, I was wondering if I could maybe have your number?" She asked politely. "Look, I'm very flattered but I already have a girlfriend" I say to her. "That doesn't bother me" She smiled flirtatiously. "Well, it bothers me. I already told you I have a girlfriend, I love her so I would never ever cheat on her" I say a little more aggressively. "I don't mind being your bit on the side" She replies. 

This girl just doesn't quit.

"You need to go and get your ears cleaned because you obviously didn't hear me the first time, I already told you have a girlfriend that I love and I would never cheat on her" After I said that, I got up and walked out of the room. 

As I was about to walk up to my apartment, somebody grabbed me and pushed me up against the wall. I see that it's the girl from before. She leans forward to try and kiss me but I dodge her. She then grabs my face and pushes me against the wall with a little more force. She leans forward again and manages to kiss me. As soon as I felt her lips touch mine I shoved her away and slapped her. "I ALREADY TOLD YOU! I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND. GET THAT INTO YOUR HEAD" I shouted. I then ran up the stairs to my apartment. I locked the door behind me. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth as I didn't want her on me.

I just got dressed appropriately so I could go and meet Britt at SanSnixx. I had to tell her about that psycho too.

I just walked into the building and people are already looking at me with looks of disgust on their faces. "What's going on?" I asked Tony at the reception. "Why would you cheat on her?" He asked. "What are you going on about?" I asked him again. He pulls his phone out and shows me an article. 'SanSnixx owner Santana Lopez caught cheating with mysterious girl'

"Shit" I say as I ran all the way to the dance studio. I run into the room to see Britt still teaching the dancers. 

"Out now!" I yell to the dancers. They all scurry out of the room as Britt is looking at me with concern. "Baby, is everything okay?" She asked. "Before you say anything you have to let me explain. Please?" I told her. "Okay, you're kind of scaring me though" She reveals. I pull her over to a couple of chairs, and we both sat down. I pulled my phone out and got the article up. I took a deep breath and showed Britt.

"What's this?" She asked me. "Please let me explain" I begged. "That you cheated on me! So all of that stuff you said last night was complete bullshit" She cried. "Babe, please just let me explain" I told her. "You have 2 minutes." She said to me. "I was in the gym and the girl in the photo came up to me and asked for my number, I said no and told her I had a girlfriend and that I loved you. She wasn't having any of it though. I kept telling her that I would never cheat on you. I left the room and she grabbed me and pushed me against the wall. She tried to kiss me but I managed to dodge her the first time. She then grabbed my face and I couldn't get of out the way quick enough. As soon as she kissed me, I pushed her away and slapped her and ran to the apartment" I tell her. Britt sits there in silence and it's absolutely killing me. "Baby, please say something" I begged her. "That's the problem San, I don't know what to say" She mumbled.
