Part 8: Dreaming

BRITTANYS POV

I'm currently at my apartment waiting for Santana to pick me up to go to the Christmas party. I really can't wait as I really don't want to hide our relationship at work. "Wow Britt, you look amazing" Quinn complimented. "Thanks Q, so how's it going with Ronnie?" I asked. "Okay, we are taking it slow. How do you and Santana feel about it?" She asked. "Well we talked about it and we are perfectly fine with it, we want to support you both in whatever situation you are in" I tell her. "Thank you Britt, V is actually coming over tonight. We are going to have a movie date" She says to me. "That's good, shall I stay at Santanas tonight? Or maybe invest in some earplugs" I joked. "There's no need for that, nothing like that will be happening any time soon" She laughed. "Right okay, just le the know when so I can be out of the house. I love you but I don't wanna hear any of that" I chuckled. She just laughed with me as there was a knock at the door. I walk over and standing there is Santana all dressed up. "Ooo baby, you look so sexy" I say to her. "Aww thanks babe, you look beautiful" She say as she leans forward and gives me a kiss. "Ready to go?" She asked. "Yeah, lets go. Bye Q. Have fun with Veronica" I shouted as we left the apartment. 

We just reached the party, Santana and I thought it would be best if we walked in separately so people wouldn't get suspicious. I walked in first and went straight to the bar to get myself and Santana a drink. "Hey Brittany, how are you?" Becca asked. "Yeah, I'm good, how are you?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm okay. I'm worried about Miss Lopez, she hasn't been into work over the past couple weeks and she hasn't explained why" She says. "Well, maybe you can ask her, she is right behind you" I say to her. "I heard what you said Becca, I'm fine, actually I'm more than fine. Everything will be explained later tonight. I promise" She says. She nods and walks away quickly. "Here, I got you a drink" I say to her as I hand her the drink I got her. "Thanks babe" She says while taking it from me and taking a large gulp from it. "Woah, slow down, you don't want to be blind drunk when you tell everybody" I say to her. "I'm going to do it now, to get it over with" She says. "Good luck" I say to her.

She walks off and takes her place on the stage. "Hey guys, I know most of you have all realised that I haven't been around the past couple of weeks and there is a reason for that. You all know that I had a girlfriend who was basically a bitch. When I broke up with her she became violent. She tried to force me to marry her when I liked another girl and my current girlfriend who is actually in the room, her best friend has a little girl who is just the cutest little girl ever. Vanessa took it upon her self to kidnap her when I refused to marry her, so I went to save her but in the process she shot me, so I have taken some time off to recover and I will be back after New Years. I know you all want to know who my girlfriend is and yes she does work for me. Babe get up here" She says. Everyone was looking around for somebody making their way to the stage. I took a deep breath and walked to Santana. 

I could tell everyone was shocked to find out it was me. The sweet, innocent girl from Ohio "Wow, very touching. I should've known you were fucking your boss when you wouldn't fuck me" I hear a deep male voice say. I look around to see Theo standing to the side. "Who the fuck are you?" Santana asked. "I'm Theo, one of the dancers" He replies. "No, you were one of the dancers until you decided to be homophobic to my girlfriend. She fired you, she told me" Santana says to him. "Well, she can't fire me, she isn't the boss." He replies confidently. "Well, listen carefully because obviously you didn't hear Britt when she told you. I gave Brittany full authority over the dancers as she knows dance better than me. But as you need confirmation, you're fired and now leave my building and don't return otherwise I will call the police and have you done for trespassing" She demands. "Whatever, I don't want to work for a bunch of dykes anyway" He says as he strolls off. "What a dick" Santana says. "I'm proud of you for not punching him" I say to her. "I thought it was best to remain professional" She says. "I think that ship sailed when you decided to date one of your employees" I joked. "True" She chuckled. Santana walks back up to the stage to carry on her speech. "Before I was rudely interrupted, yes Britt and I are dating and one more thing everyone who works for me will be getting a $5000 Christmas bonus. You're welcome" She says as everyone screams and shouts and cheers.
