After Carter was punished with homework and our teacher asked us, girls, to stay behind. He took a chair to sit in front of us. "There was a purpose I let you two speak and Mr. Carter. Have you seen what the difference is between your speeches and his?" We shook our heads no and looked at him. "You only spoke about your goals and what you want to improve. He just talked about bullshit and nothing he wants to do. You are mature enough to stand up for yourself."

I stood up and hugged him. "Thank you so much. This means a lot to me." "Nothing to thank me. This was an experiment for me and proof that the Community has to be more mature at a much younger age. I am gay too, so I know what you all have been through. I only figured it out after being married for a few months, so I got divorced and now live with my boyfriend and my dog in a small apartment we can afford."

We smiled. "I think by now we have more Gays in this school than Straights." Avery giggled and soon the rest of us did too. It was great to have so many of those people here. "Well let's get to the next class, don't want to miss a single lesson in Italian class. Except for Lucy of course." I suddenly got a call. My mama. Weird. I picked it up.

"Mama? Is everything okay or did something happen?" "No, we were bored because we have a day off. Fancy getting some real breakfast and skipping school with us? We want to have some time with our girls." "Let me ask them and I will text you." "Great baby, just text me and we will be on our way."

They looked at me. "Mama asked us to get breakfast with her and Mum. You wanna come you two?" They both smiled and nodded. "What about me?", Mia asked. I hugged Mia and told her another time. I texted Mama we are coming and put my phone in my bag. "Let's go. Also, can you tell the teachers we have a funeral to attend?" "Of course." We hugged them all quickly and went outside to wait for our mums.

When we got out of the huge school building, Mum and Mama were already waiting for us. Avery ran to them and hugged them both. Ag and I went slowly to them, holding hands and smiling at each other, just to appreciate the time we can spend together. "Hey girls, let's go, there is this cute local restaurant that has amazing food. Like sooo good."

We got in the cars and headed to the restaurant. We listened to music we liked and we made a compromise that our mums could pick the music on our way home. The streets looked so beautiful, green grass, beautiful flowers and so many more details I could tell you about.
