Chapter 6: Writing New Songs

Gumball POV:

        beep, beep, beep, beep, I hear by my ear. I slap my alarm, and raise my arms into the air, and slowly sit up. I look besides me, and nothing was there. "Marshall?" I get no response. "Marshall Lee?" still no resoponse. I get out of bed, and get into my closet. I look through my closet and finally choose an outfit. I ended up wearing Quiksliver Tyler shirt, with a pink bowtie, skinnie jeans, and last but not least a black beanie. I walked out of the room, and down the hall, until I heard Marshall's band yelling and slamming the door behind them. They left, and then I saw angry looking Marshall opening the door, then closes it again. I curiously walk towards the door, I press my ear against the door. I hear things being thrown, and banging. I slowly open the door, "M-marshall, is everything okay?" Marshall looked at me, and stoped kicking holes into the drumset. I stood there frozen, until marshall fell to his knees, and looked at the floor. I rushed to him, and sat on the floor next to him, "Marshall whats wrong? What happened?"

        Marshall mumbled, and spoke softly, and I couldn't hear him. I sat there, I put my hand on his back but he jumped. I removed it, and looked around. It was a mess, the room was trash and full pieces of trash and objects. "Did you get into a fight?" He didn't respond, not even a mumble. I stared at him, until he stood up and rubbed his eyes. He smiled down at me, he grabed what seemed like a notebook, and he started writing and writing. I glanced at the paper a couple times, I think he is writing songs.. He smiled at me again, and again, he open his mouth as if to say something but he didn't.

        I smiled back, "Are you writing songs?" I asked. He grined, and nodded. "How many did you write today," He stopped writing, "Five," he said puzzled. I raised my eye brow, until I realized he was serious, then I had a surprized look on my face. He stared at me, then laughed lightly. Then he had a serious look on his face, "So Marshall And The Scream Kings... are splitting up," you could tell he was upset, "But, I am going to continue my life as a rockstar, I'm just going to be solo." he continued. I nodded, I had no questions about it, I always thought his band memebers were a bad example, and were holding him back. "What are your new songs called?" He looked at me with a huge smile on his face, but then slowly frowned, "Fall for you, I'm A Disaster, Black Moon, Under Wraps, and that one song I sang to you last night, The Listening, I made that song up for awhile, the band thought it was to mushy." I smiled, "It's amazing how you can come up with so many songs in such little time." We stared at each other for awhile, He was so beautiful, I guess I should say handsome, but I think he is amazing, he is beautiful in so many ways, I could admire him all the time. Everyone thinks we hate each other, but thats not really the case. We normaly don't get along, because of the past, but Marshall and I have been getting along, We even once had guys night without Fionna. (which ended up a distaster, but we had fun!) I just want to, I just want to tell him so many things, I wish I could go back in time and stop the fight, and if I did glob knows that maybe we would be a couple, or married, or maybe even have kids by now. Sadly, I can't take back the past. Glob, why do I feel like this, why do I think such things about Marshall, Marshall Lee. I just have to admit that.. I like Marshall, I have a crush on Marshall..

(A/N), I thought I was going to update more, and even not update late. I just am going through alot right now, and I just am not the happiest. I'm super sorry that I didn't post more today and if the chapter(s) are short, I am tired and really need to try to sleep, anyways.. OH MY GLOB, Bubba likes Marshall he finally admited it~ Oh and if you want to hear/listen to the songs that Marshall wrote I'll leave links in here.. I will try to update tommorrow (I don't know if I can/will), anyways enjoy the story c:

I don't know why the font changed, maybe it only changed for me.. If you were wondering why I didn't do the link for the listening (by: lights) it's becuase I did that for the last chapetr, Also, all the videos I linked are lyric videos, just beacsue maybe you want to read the lyrics while listening to it XD, if not just look up the name of the song plus the artist/band name and you can watch the offical video?
