My dad was rushing around the suite. I was sitting alone on my bed. I wanted to do something. I wanted to turn on the TV. I wanted to help my dad but he was so worried that I just decided to wait. Unfortuneatley, our room was across the hall from the elevator. I heard the 'ding' that it makes. My heart started to race. My palms became sweaty. I ran to my father. I saw wha he was doing. He had bought locks and brought a scewdriver. At first, there was one lock. Now, there was five. Plus, they were all different. My dad took me to the bacony. I heard him push the wooden desk in front of the door. Then, he was pushing the couch! Then, I heard the pounding. I ran out and quietly punched the numbers for reception. The young woman picked up with  shaky voice.

"Um, Marriot Suite Hotel, how may I --um-- assist you?"

"Whats going on? Where are the police? You know, hes pounding at our door!" I had to whisper.

"The policemen are in the elevator and it looks like they just got to your floor. Is there anything else we can do?"

"Uhh..." I had to think for a second. "A lockdown."

She accepted and called one down. I heard the intercom speaker beep on as the receptionist's voice rang over the building.

"There will be a full lockdown in the entire building. Please lock doors and stay away from glass or windows. Thank you and continue enjoying our stay at the Marriot Suites Hotel". The intercom beeped off. I heard Reed Noting yelling.

"No! I have to leave here with the pin! Damnit the cops are here!" I heard the ding again. Thank god. I heard guns click. That means an officer is ready to shoot.

"Hands is the air!" They yelled. as they cuffed him up I heard the words that I always heard on TV. "You are under arrest for attempt murder. You have the right to remain silent. anything you say may be used against you in the court of law." I was so happy I wouldn't have to deal with Reed Noting anymore. Then, one of the officers knocked on our door.

"It's OK to come out." He sounded so harsh. I was a little afraid of meeting him because his voice was so deep that it souded like Batman. My dad started to push everything out of the way and unlock the door. We slowly stepped outside. There were like, ten cops, all of them armed with weapons of all sorts. Tasors, pistols, you name it. Then, the intercom came back on.

"The lockdown is over." The receptionists voice was confindent, and more proud then it was. "Thank you for you cooporation and enjoy your stay at the Marriott Hotel Suite." It beeped off. My dad and I went downstairs to see my grandparents waiting for us. We were so suprised. You see, my grandparents are very cautious so when things like school shootings and such happen, they lock themselves in their homes and stay there for a day or two. We hugged them and went out to get something to eat. I was relaxed and happy. I can never say safe, though. Probably ever agin. With the pin in my peacoat pocket, I was dangerous to be around. But I thought to myself, Reed is gone, so I'm safe now. I now know that there are more people out there to get the pin. People like Julia Herring.
