I still hadn't gotten used to living with the Scouts. It had been several days since they took me out of the dungeon and brought me to the their HQ. So many new faces. Most of them were pretty nice to me, but of course there are always some who hated me. Can't hold it against them. They're suspicious of me, trying everything to put me back into that dark cell.
Especially the girl on Levis squad. Petra I think her name was. No joke, she was a pain in the ass some times. But I guess she had her reasons to hate me. An enemy living with you, eating with you on the same table.
It was my first day as a cadet in training. All of the others were obviously much younger than me. Nevertheless we got along very well. Especially me and a black haired, tall girl called Mikasa. Such a strong girl! And the fact that she also wasn't a big fan of Levi made us pretty much besties. It amazed me how many girls drooled after him. What was there to like about him?
His attitude? His height?
"Come on we are late for training, (y/n)!" Eren, one of the few people who possessed the power of the titan, said to me while gesturing me to follow him. Mikasa, Armin and him were the unbreakable trio there. From what I know they had been childhood best friends and Mikasa, even though not related to Eren, grew up with him.
My stomach growled in protest, but I still made my over to Eren. I had to skip breakfast today because of Hanji, aka my new roommate.

"What are you doing up this late, Hanji?" The new girl looked over to Hanji rubbing her eyes.
"Oh, did I wake you up? I'm sorry I am just writing a report on the new titans we captured." She fixed her glasses and took a sip of water.
"No, it's fine. I wasn't able to sleep anyway. What titans are you talking about?" The girl asked out of curiosity.
And rest was history.

My biggest mistake...
We stepped outside where all the cadets had already gathered for their daily training. All of them dressed in neat and clean trainees uniform. Even I had gotten one from Hanji a few days ago. A simple long sleeved black shirt with black high waisted training pants.
My eyes caught Levi, who was discussing something with his squad, while Hanji was talking to the cadets. She was excited like the first the day I met her. Always so full of energy. Just thinking about energy made me realize how much I craved for some breakfast.
