I didn't know where we were going, because I was originally assigned to go with Jack. Completely clueless and nervous because of him, I kept biting my lips and staring at the unknown roads. Where exactly are we heading to?

"Stop doing that." I turned my head and finally faced Levi. Raising my brow I tilted my head. Why are his eyes and tone so different today? Is he sick? Stressed out? I doubt that. I unintentionally bit my lower lip slightly. It was something I always did whenever I was nervous or was trying to figure something out. His eyes narrowed again as he sat up properly adjusting his position.

"I said, stop that!" What? What am I doing, stupid?

"A bit more specific would be very nice, captain." I raised my shoulders and my eyes also narrowed. He sighed. A big and long sigh.

Levi bent forward his one hand on his knee. I looked at his black loose hair. I had the sudden urge to run my fingers through his hair. Ugh. He startled me and I inhaled sharply as I met his eyes. His grey eyes, now darker than before. His gaze fixed on me. And suddenly he raised his other hand. What is he trying to do? I reflexively wanted to retrieve but his aura held me back. Held me captive. Frozen. His soft and warm hand cupped my cheek and his thumb once again traced my lower lip. Fuck. My heart immediately started to pound like crazy. I inhaled a long breath and his touch gave me goosebumps. You have to pull yourself together! I felt the unbearable urge to touch his soft lips with mine. We stared each other in the eyes, but his were tracking my lip just like his thumb. Don't do it. Don't do it, (Y/n)! I closed my eyes because this feeling was too much for me. For god's sake, don't do it, (Y/n)! Stop him! Pull away! I shut out the voice in my head and it slowly disappeared. Fuck.

My eyes shot wide open when I felt his breath on my lips. Levi's face was millimeters away from mine. His eyes full of desire. I can't give in! His thumb pressed near my lower lip to free it from my teeth. I swallowed hard inhaling his fresh scent. He started to lean forward. Oh god. I can't pull away. The weird feeling in my stomach getting more and more intense. His lip was about to brush against mine, but the carriage came to a halt. I quickly pushed him away and we both cleared our throats. Oh. My. God. What were you thinking, (Y/n)?!

He opened the door peaking outside. There was clearly a look of confusion on his face as he searched for the cause of our sudden stop.

„Step outside, Levi." An unfamiliar stern voice demanded.

„Tch. I knew this was going to happen." And with that, he exited the carriage. I also got up grabbing the side of the door, but Levi put his hand across the doorframe preventing me to exit.

„Stay in inside,(L/n).", he ordered without even looking at me. Fine. I don't not what is happening anyway. But curiosity took over and I slightly opened the door again. What.

The military police had us surrounded. What the hell. This isn't part of the plan. What is happening here? I quickly stood up and stepped outside. Some of the police officers looked at me narrow-eyed. Shit, are we in trouble? My eyes scanned the area as I nervously tightened my grip on the door. 

"Didn't I tell you to stay inside, (Y/n)?" I nearly jumped at the voice behind me. His eyes clearly filled with annoyance and another emotion I couldn't quite pin down. 

"I'm sorry, I was just getting a bit worried, captain." I blurted out honestly. His expression turned serious.

"There is nothing to be worried about. Everything is happening just as planned." But my eyes kept wandering around and I spotted Erwin standing a few feet away behind him. He was talking to a guy who was wearing the military police uniform and...What? Pointing his gun on Erwin! What the hell is happening? My eyes shot wide open and so did my mouth. Levi saw that and also turned around. I saw his muscles tense up.
