✨Chapter 17✨

The Hospital
Luke POV

   "Will she be okay?" I say as they are wheeling her in the stretcher. "We don't know sir." The nurse said. "Well can I be in the room while y'all are doing tests." I reply. "I'm sorry sir but you must wait in the hall or in the waiting room." She says wheeling Julie into the ICU. "But wait-" I say right before she closes the door on my face. I can't go all the way down to the waiting room. What if something happens. I guess I'll just wait in the hall. I then sit down on the floor and before I knew it I was asleep.
   "Luke. Luke. Luke!" I open my eyes to see Reggie standing there with Alex and Willie. "Oh hey." I say getting up. "What are you doing here?" Alex says. "I'm waiting for Julie." I say looking through the ICU window. "Wait. She's in the ICU? That's bad." Reggie says. "Well umm is everything okay with you guys?" I say changing the subject. "Yup! We are all healthy!" Willie says. "That's great! What time is it anyways?" I say. "About 11:00. They are gonna close soon." Alex says. "Listen. Julie will be okay. She is strong." Reggie says patting my arm. I hear ICU door open and I turn around to see the nurse the wheeled Julie in earlier.
   "Hello. We are closing in five minutes. One person may come in and stay with Julie Molina." She says looking around at all of us. "Luke you should." Alex says. "Really? Thanks." I say. "Okay come on in. The rest of you have to go home." The boys head towards the front exit and I walk into the ICU. The nurse leads me to the room where Julie is and opens the door. "There is a tv, couch, and bathroom. Don't touch any equipment." She then turns around closing the door behind her. I see a chair and pull it up to the hospital bed. I hate seeing her here with all this equipment. I grab her hand and hold it tight.
   "Tonight would've been awesome. I can't believe this happened. Alex, Willie, and Reggie are all okay. They wanted to come see you but they had to go home because of closing. I don't know if you can hear me but, we need you. I need you to make it. I know your fighting your hardest. I'll be here the whole time." I say. Of course she didn't respond because she is still unconscious. I then kiss her hand and sit back in my chair still holding her hand in mine.
   "Awww how cute." I look up to see Caleb standing there. "You better leave right now!" I say. "Awww but I just arrived. How is my star singer doing?" He says with a evil grin on his face. "Excuse me? You're the one that did this two her. Now as I said go." I say softly squeezing Julie's hand. "It was Willies fault." Caleb says walking closer to her. "No it wasn't. Now go." I say guarding Julie. "Watch your tone." He says. "No! Now for the third time. Go!" I say. "You gonna regret that." Caleb says. Then he poofs out.
   I then go over to the couch that's by a big window and lay down. Next thing I knew I was fast asleep.....again.
3:12 am
   "Luke." I sit straight up to see Julie sitting straight up in the hospital bed. "Julie? Julie!" I say running over to her. I grab her shoulders and pull her into a big hug. "Where am I?" Julie says leaning back down. "The hospital. You probably don't remember because you were unconscious. You were locked in our dressing room and-" I stop. Julie's eyes fill with tears. They slowly run down her face. "Hey what's wrong?" I say taking her hand. "I-I-." She starts. "It's okay. I know. But everyone made it out safely. Okay? I won't let this happen to you again." I say sitting on the hospital bed with her. "Promise?" She says as more tears run down her face. "Promise." I say. I wipe her tears away then give her a kiss on the cheek.
   We sit there together in each others arms. Julie had to stay there a few more nights. I stayed with her the whole time. Then we were finally allowed to go home.
