After-Julie and the phantoms

✨Chapter 19✨

School (Free period)
Julie POV

"So Carrie told me about a gig tonight for the middle school. What do you say?" I say to the boys in the hallway, outside of my locker. "Sounds great!" Reggie says. "Ya but will you be okay playing so soon? That fire was pretty traumatic?" Luke says. "Yeah.... I'll be fine." At least I hope I will be fine. We then walk to the music room since it is free during this time. We all get in our spots and get our instruments ready. We agree to practice the chorus of Finally Free.
The boys start playing their instruments. I can feel that I just missed my cue. "Uhhh Julie....you missed your cue." Reggie says from behind me. "Oh right sorry. Let's just start again." I say. They start I can hear my part coming up. My body starts to shake. I feel like I'm going to puke. I start to sweat. Then the boys stop playing. "Julie.... you missed it again." Alex says softly. "Julie are you okay?" Luke says walking up to me. "I-I-." Then I run out of the music room and race to the bathroom. Tears roll down my face as I sit in on of the stalls, I then here two people walk in.
"Okay, we're clear. Julie? Are you in here?" Alex says. "Yeah...." I say unlocking the stall I was in. "Were you crying?" Alex says. That only makes my eyes fill with more tears. I just start crying again infront of Alex and Reggie. "Reggie go get Luke." Alex says. Reggie then runs out to get Luke. Alex walks over to me and gives me a big hug, it felt like the hugs my mom would give me. He then wipes my tears right before Luke and Reggie come running back in.
    "Julie what's going on?" Luke says. "I-I." I start. "Hey. It's okay." Luke says walking up to me. He grabs me and pulls me in a tight hug. We all kinda sit there in silence. He then puts both hands on my cheeks and gives me forehead a gentle kiss. We then walk out and head back to the music to grab our things.
