✨Chapter 6✨

Dinner

Alex POV

   Why am I so nervous? I have this thought that keeps coming up, it's that Ray will make Julie quit the game because I'm gay. I'm afraid he will look at me the way my parents did. I have to have positive thoughts. He seems very nice. I mean Reggie is always with him. Well that was before we came back to life. I will be praying for Ray.
   "Guys I'm going to go see Julie." Luke says. Poof! "What just happened!" Reggie says concerned. "I don't know but I hope it doesn't involve Caleb." I say.  "Reggie come on. Lets go see if Julie has seen him." I say running out if the studio. Reggie follows me upstairs to Julie's bedroom. I throw to door open to see Luke staring at Julie while she is cleaning her room. "Luke." Me and Reggie say. "Yes?" Luke says moving his eye sight to us. "What- how?" Me and Reggie say. "What do you mean. I poofed out and came here. What is the big deal?" He said sitting up on the bed. "WE CAN STILL POOF! BUT WE ARE ALIVE AGAIN!" Me and Reggie screamed. "I don't know. I'm pretty sure we are they first people to have this happen to us." "Fair point." Reggie said. "Why can't she hear us?" I say. "She has something called AirPods in her ears and it plays music." Luke said smiling while gazing at Julie.
   "Oh hey guys." Julie said taking out her AirPods. "Hey Julie!" We all said. "Oh I better go help with dinner, Carlos will come up and get you when dinner is done." Julie said. Julie then left the room. Right when the door closed Luke jumped up and headed to the door. "What do you think you're doing." I said. "Umm...I gonna help Julie with dinner." He said. "Since when do you cook." Reggie said. "Or help." I mumbled. "I heard that! Besides why can't I help Julie. She is letting us live here, eat her food, and use her bathroom." Luke said slightly angry. Right after he storms out Reggie says "Geez someone really wants to 'help'."

Luke POV

I can't they said I'm 'Not Helpful'. I am very helpful. *walks into kitchen* Wow she looks really pretty in that outfit. Act normal! "Hey Julie." "Oh hey Luke. Why are you down here?" Julie said with a smile. She has the prettiest smile. "I thought that I'd come help you cook because you do so much for us." Ugh I sound so cheesy. "Aww thanks. Tonight I am making hotdogs." She said with a smile on her face.            "WHAT NO NO NO! PLEASE PICK SOMETHING ELSE! I WILL WALK TO THE STORE!" I scream. "Calm down, I was kidding," Julie says laughing, "We are actually having pasta and a side salad." she said smiling.
   "Yuck! Salad." I said making a disgusted face. "You don't have to eat it if you don't want to." she said laughing. "Do you like people who eat salad?" I said. WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT! UGH! "Yeah I guess, since it's good for you." she sounded confused. "Well I guess I'm eating salad tonight." We both smile and lock eyes. We start leaning towards each other. "What is happening here." Alex said. He was standing with Reggie and Carlos. "Umm...just talking about dinner." Julie said blushing. "Well dad is coming home any minute." Carlos said. "Everyone sit! Doesn't matter where!" Julie said putting the pasta and salad in bug bowls.

Julie POV

God why am I so nervous. I really hope my dad likes Luke....um and Reggie and Alex of course. *Ray comes through the front door* "Dad!" Carlos and I walk over to him. We give him a big hug and jester him to his chair. "What's going on here?" Ray said. "Well I thought it was finally time that you met my band mates." I say.
Should I tell him everything that has happened or keep that between the band? "Dad this is Luke, Reggie, and Alex. I will explain everything, but for now I want you to get to know them while we eat." I say taking a seat. We all talk and the boys get to know my dad and my dad gets to know the boys. I explain how I met them and the whole Caleb thing. We all finish then my dad and Carlos go on the porch to play a board game. Alex and Reggie go back to the studio and put together there school stuff. I'm so excited for the boys to come to school tomorrow. I get up and clean up dinner. *hums perfect harmony while washing dishes* Poof!
"Hey Julie!" Oh it's Luke. "Hey Luke, what are you doing?" "I'm helping you clean up dinner." He says grabbing a plate and sponge. Awww he is so sweet. "Thanks." We wash the dishes and sing Finally Free. "Well I better head to bed since I have school tomorrow. You should get to bed too." I say drying my hands off. "Oh okay. Well um see you in the morning." Luke says with a slight frown. He walks out to the studio as I walk up to my room. I get ready for bed then get down my dream box. I write the lyrics to Perfect Harmony and put it inside. Then I turn off my light and go to sleep.
