Chapter Three: Meeting Sapphira and Oscens

Ravenna pulled out of the hug and walked to the doors.

"Come on, I'll show you and your coven around. I don't have much to do in the way of leading right now," Ravenna said. Esme and Carlisle smiled at her and followed her as she left the room. The other Cullen's were out of their rooms and Alice had a knowing look on her face. 

"I know that face well, Seer," Ravenna teased lightly. Alice hugged her quickly and then hugged Carlisle and Esme. 

"What's going on?" Emmett asked, confused as was everyone else except the four. 

"Carlisle and Esme are mates but Ravenna is also their mate. And Ravenna imprinted on them," Alice said, letting go of Esme. Everyone was stunned silent except Renesmee who bounded up to Ravenna. 

"So you are a second grandmother to me?" she asked. 

"I-" Ravenna started looking back to Carlisle and Esme who nodded with smiles, "I think so."

Renesmee pulled the blonde into a hug and as she pulled away, Emmett picked up Ravenna in a hug and spun her. A hiss startled him and he let go of her. Esme had hissed at him and was looking shocked at herself.

"Mom is protective. Got it," Emmett said, stepping away from Ravenna. Ravenna laughed and turned to the others shyly.

"We approve," Edward said, reading everyone else's minds and knowing they approved of the blonde. 

Ravenna smiled and led the way down the corridor and outside the castle front. Her guards nodded to her and she nodded back. 

"I'll show you the dragons first. Sapphira will be eager to meet you," Ravenna said, leading the way to the dragon side of the city. As they got closer, hatchlings and whelplings swarmed Ravenna, three landing on her shoulders and head. 

"Hello. Now I know your mothers will be looking for you. Go," Ravenna shooed them away laughing. The small dragons hopped and glided away, back into the hatchery. A small mountain with a cave entrance big enough for a dragon to fit through was in the center of the plaza, surrounded by smaller hills with cave entrances. 

"These go deep underground as dragons come out to hunt, or fight, and then they go back down where they know it is safe for them and the young ones. Wait here. I'll call Sapphira," Ravenna said and then paused for a moment, "and you might want to cover your ears." 

The Cullen's looked at her confused but did as she said and covered their ears. Ravenna smiled and then turned away from them. Her mouth opened and out came an inhuman, bird like screech. The Cullen's flinched simultaneously and pressed their hands harder to their ears. The screech died and a responding roar sounded from within the mountain. A blue snout protruded from the cave entrance and then a neck and then the rest of the dragon came out. The dragon towered over the ground walkers and lowered it's head to Ravenna.

"Why have you called me out, little sister?" The dragon spoke with its' mind, its' jaws never moving.

"I wanted you to meet our visitors, Sapphira. I know you like meeting the Earth walkers," Ravenna said. The dragon seemed to perk up at that news and turned her gaze to the Cullen's. 

"I smell your mates among them. This is also something you would tell me, yes?" Sapphira asked. 

"Of course I would tell you. Carlisle, Esme, would you come here?" Ravenna said, holding her hand out to her imprints/mates. Carlisle and Esme stepped forward and Carlisle took Ravenna's hand. Ravenna brought their hands up and rested Carlisle's hand on Sapphira's snout. Sapphira breathed in and then turned to Esme.
