***Later that day***

"Where are you taking me?" I sighed, crossing my arms over my chest and pouting like a child.

"Just shut up and except your fate" Kadence grumbled driving my truck.

All I could tell was that there were trees lining the gravel road.

The sun was setting.

"I hate you" I mumbled.

"What? What was that you little shit?" He questions like a mother and we laughed.

"Close your eyes again." She ordered.

I groan but did as told.

I felt the car pull to a stop, an her reaching over putting what I assumed was a bandana over my eyes.

She jumped out of the car leaving me alone in silence for a few moments before she opens the door on my side, helping me out.

"Tell me, is the world beautiful? Be my eyes Kadence, show me what I can't see." I joked and she giggled.

"Alright, take it off." She nodded releasing my arm.

"Bossy." I hissed, pulling off the bandana and regaining view.

"SURPRISE!" A barn full of people shouted.

"Oh shit." I jumped startled at first but smiled.

"Hey every one" I said unsure what I was supposed to say.

I was greeted by every single person there, whom I knew and loved dearly.

Including James who was surprised ten minutes before I arrived.

It was our going away party.

The whole barn was lined with lights, and hillbilly arts and crafts.

"Blane!" Quin squealed jumping into my embrace.

"Hey little tard!" I chuckled.

"Blane..." My mom gushed gathering her children in her arms, parting and taking my sister with her.

"Son" my dad smiled approaching, and giving me one of those fatherly son hug.

I was tired just by every one saying hello.

But the party was only at its peek.

I danced with every woman here, all wanting a turn being the family they are.

"There's a little moonlight dancing on the sand"

the voice sang over the speakers.

My eyes rested on Kadence who had her back agents a pillar watching me aswell

I recognized it.

It was 'Let me down easy'.

I extended a hand to her for her to take.

"Can I have this dance?" I asked knowing she would take it.

She looked as me as the voice of Billy Currington sang out

"You need to know where I'm standing now

That I'm right on the edge of giving into ya

Baby it's a long way down"

She took my hand, and I snapped her up quickly, and pulling her close to my body, holding her tight agents me.

Billy sang
