It was nothing like I was expecting.
They didn't wear cowboy hats, or boots an ride horses everywhere.
They where normal people.
If anything more normal then any other place I have been.
One thing about the texas that is true is they are super friendly.
When you walk down the street and make eye contact you ALWAYS get a warm smile.
A surprise about this lite trip is that we would be traveling all over this great state.
Apparently every one hade been saving in advance, they knew this was coming for Over a half a year.
And Kadence's new job paid Her a well amount of money, so she was set up and ready to spend it.
"What you think? should I get this?" Kay's voice rang out, as she turned to face me with ridiculously large glasses, with her lips in a pouting fashion and eyebrows raised.
"I think that you already have four pairs of those already" I reply and give a slight smile, then spoke agin "can we get on the road? If you want to get to belton to do this thing by noon, I suggest you get your fucking ass in the car." I smiled kindly.
She nodded, returning me a wide grin and put down the glasses "fineee".
On our way out we passed by Eskimo, arms filled with snacks and buying them all.
"fat fag!" Lesley grumbled then smiling and clapped hands with her boyfriend, I assumed he told her to say it.
In the corner of my eye I could see a man who was starring me down, I had no clue who he was or what I did to anger him, instead I blew him off.
The car ride took forever.
And when I stepped out into view of this large lake, I drew a long deep breath.
"wow" Callie gushed, looking around at the few people there.
"now where's the BBQ pit? James asked getting out as well, walking to a picnic looking area, his girl right on his heals, and soon all of us as well.
Not long after that every one was enjoying themselves.
Callie cranked up the music and this time it was MY IPod.
Eskimo, Kadence, Lesley and I where in the water.
James was barbecuing and Todd was leaning over his shoulder criticizing his work.
"if you don't back up , I will fuck you up" James hissed, turning to his friend.
"I'm just saying, that ones finished!" Todd pleaded.
"y'all need to Have me do the cooking?" I called out.
"yes go! Then I'll get to sit here with the lady's" Eskimo grind winking at Kay.
"take her I don't want her anymore" Todd teases seeing Callie within inches of him, but before she could fake being hurt, and storm off he pulled her by her waist into him pressing a kiss to her lips.
"you touch my woman and you will wish you where dead" James shouted over in all realness, keeping his eyes on the grill.
I chuckled.
