"You surf?" Maddison asked, taking a seat next to me, and we both watched Nikki sitting out in the water, trying to teach Kadence to surf on Maddi's board.
"Yea, haven't gone out since I left for Iraac though" I answered, as Jessica approached.
"Well, lets see what you got then." She said obviously listening in on our conversation, "take my board."
I nodded taking it from her, and walking out to the water.
The water hitting my feet, cooling me off from the suns hot rays.
I plopped onto the board and began to paddle out.
The waves here where much smaller, and I was able to get over them quickly I passed Todd Eskimo and Callie who where splashing around like children, I took no time at all to reach Nikki and Kadence.
"You surf?" Nikki asked.
Her and Maddison where almost the same person.
"He did" Kay answered doing her best not to fall off her board.
"Here comes a set" Nikki called, and I look up to see a wake growing on its way in.
"Dibs!" I shouted paddling into it.
"Is that what y'all say?" Nikki chuckled, as I caught the wave, popping up immediately.
It felt good to ride.
I Hadn't been out in so long.
I grind, ducking low feeling a need to do my old favorite trick.
I thrusted my hip to the right, subduing myself and the board in the air.
The every one whooped, as I landed successfully.
As the wave died down, I went up one more time, but this time jumping and cannon balling into the water.
"Wooooh!" I shouted as I emerged from the water.
"Nice!" Katie called from ashore.
Every one else clapped.
I went back out.
I didn't return to shore for another two hours.
"Wow! Never seen anyone catch that much air in person." Taylor nodded.
"Yea, pretty good for someone who hasn't been out in ages" Maddison added.
"It was hot" Nikki gushed.
"Yeah it was" Jessica agreed.
man these girls can talk.
"Lunch!" Lesley called, and with those magic words the Texan swarm left me and rushed to the table we had set up.
"Wow, they don't shut up do they?" I asked Kay who just stood watching shaking her had grinning.
"No" she said.
We all sat around in chairs, eating the hotdogs James cooked.
I look up to see Maddison smiling like a moron at Jessica who was looking back at her uneasily.
"J is for jumper cables" she said making Jessica practically choke on her food.
"Dont" Jess spat.
"E is for egg drop soup" Katie said smirking.
"Guys I will kill you!" Jessica squealed.
"S is for scooter" Nikki smiled.
"S as in second scooter" Taylor added.
