It all started in September of 2017
Always being told "Be careful it goes by really fast"
When all I cared about was makeup and caffeine
I didn't know I'd blink and it would be in the pastMy sophomore year started my obsession with boys and drugs
That's when I realized I wasn't thirteen anymore
I was no longer begging my mom for hugs
Because I knew she would smell the liquor I pourNow it's senior year and I have to worry about a vaccine
And somehow in eight months i'm turning eighteen
