"Seulgi noona!"

The said dark-haired girl practically threw herself into the van and wrapped her arms around the trembling Jeon boy. Seeing this kid felt so good, but at the same time she felt a little bad for completely forgetting about him.

"Thank God you're alright," she breathed out, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "Thank God. Thank you, Jesus."

The van had started speeding away the moment Renjun came up from the rear, screaming 'go, go, go' in every language he could speak, and the hugging two tore apart.

"Someone please fill me in on what's going on here?" Jungkook said after a moment, a hand to his chest to steady his heartbeat as the van flew down the bumpy roads at top speed. "Noona, do you know this guy?" He pointed at Renjun. "He says he knows Soyeon noona, but I've never seen him in my life." The doubt lacing his voice had Renjun looking all offended again.

"I'm Soyeon's best friend!" the Huang boy said indignantly, "How could you not know me?"

Jungkook turned to Seulgi in disbelief, "Really? My sister deals with thugs?"

The dark-haired girl fought to repress her laugh. "It seems so."

Renjun looked like he wanted to throw the both of them out of the moving vehicle right at this very moment. "I should have just left y'all for the dead," he announced, upset.

"Yeah, why did you get us out?" Jungkook threw the question back.

The girl too was curious, so she straightened.

"She has something of mine I refuse to lose," the Huang boy gestured at her, opening a palm. "Speaking of which, will you return it?" His dark calculative eyes watched her, daring her to say no.

Unarmed and indebted, she tossed the locket around her neck at him. She wasn't taking any risks when her life was practically in his hands. "The Dongs and Huangs are not going to let us just go like that. They too want the SD card."
