Parker woke up the next day
"Today, I'm a new person." he said to himself.
He came to school as confident as ever. He knows exactly what he's gonna do. He walked up to Audrey, Kenzie, and Sonia.
"Hey Parker what are you gonna do about Lex?" asked Kenzie
"Who are you?" asked Parker
"I'm the New York girl.. you followed me remember..?" said Kenzie.
"Wha-"
"Okay. So what are you gonna do?" asked Audrey getting to the point.
They sat down next to the lockers.
"Okay so basically I'm gonna ask him out during recess, then kiss him maybe?" questioned Parker.
"Well, one thats kinda boring and two no kiss. Let that wait til later." said Sonia. The rest of them agreed
"Yeah, okay. But what else could I do? I
really like him and I don't wanna screw this up." said Parker
Aww's emerged from the group.
"Just ask him to see a movie, don't say 'Will you go out with me' and have no where to go. Make the asking out long and sweet." said Sonia
"Like sex." added Audrey
"Uh huh." Sonia laughed.
"Okay" said Parker ignoring Audrey's comment.
At recess, Lex knew what was going on, because well... no one can really keep a secret.
The group went into the library. They were all in a circle just talking as usual. Sonia nudged Parker, knowing that this was the perfect time.
Parker gave Lex this look from across the circle, and he gave one back. Everyone knew what was going on, so you could kind of feel the tension.
Today the group was just Sonia, Audrey, Kenzie, Delaney, Sydney, Marissa, Lex and Parker. (Kenzie recently transferred to Whittier.)
Audrey knew Parker couldn't do this on his own.
"Oh my, I have to go to the bathroom. Would anyone care to join me?" Audrey gave everyone the kind of look which means come pee with me or I swear to god y'all will never pee again. So they all followed Audrey after she grabbed Lex's hand and dragged him towards Parker, as if Lex didn't want to be by him. (Which he of course did)
"Soo.." said Lex. Parker just nodded, but then he started stammering, his face now a slight red.
"Okay- so like I know you kind of already know this- I mean since everyone tells everything around here.. I mean I guess this makes my part easier I don't know, um sorry, anyway my point is I um-"
"Yes I'll go out with you." Lex smiled. Lex was always the more confident one in relationships.
"Wh- oh. Oh yeah." Parker was smiling really big now.
"I hope this doesn't ruin your rep or anything bec-" Parker started.
"Parker. I don't care about my rep. All I care about is you. I know thats cheesy but its true."
"I like cheesy" Parker said laughing.
"Should we let them in now? I can hear them whining." said Lex, now laughing too.
"Yeahhhh." Parker got up and opened the door, just to see the girls standing there smiling.
"I honestly think that you guys are more excited about this then I am." said Parker.
"I honestly am. This is so cool oh my god I'm so happy for y'all." said Delaney.
"So am I." said Lex to himself.
