"What do you want, Doma?"
Already, Kokushibo grew protective of you when Doma continued to smile. Even when there was a friendly smile, Kokushibo was not blind to see that Doma had other motives by tracking both of you down. Doma pretended to look hurt when he glared at him, his tears running down his cheeks as he placed his hand on his cheek. "Oh, Kokushibo-dono! So cruel of you! I was curious about the human you tried protecting from that man."
It was true Muzan punished Kokushibo, witnessed his strong connection to the reincarnation. Luckily he was able to weasel his way out of the punishment by negotiating with Muzan. Now that every demon knew he was protecting a human, everything was going to become complicated. When Kokushibo didn't give any reaction to Doma's remark, Doma began to pout childishly because his superior didn't respond.
"I was planning on eating my meal. She is useless to me, so I wanted to get to her before anyone else could."
Just by his expression alone, it appeared that he was serious. He knew that Doma would take his bluff seriously so that was why he said something so harsh. This was his way of protecting you because Doma was a cruel and manipulative man. Doma began walking towards Kokushibo, only for his head to get cut off when he drew too near.
Unlucky for him, he regenerated his head as if nothing had happened and clapped his hands as if he was praising the other. As much as there was no violence between the two of them, Kokushibo was on full alert and couldn't put you down for a second to protect you.
"Are you sure she's your meal? It looks like she means a lot to you!"
You could see that there was tension between the two demons. Because he was at a disadvantage, he didn't want Doma getting to you first. Because of the tension in the atmosphere and the demons talking, you slowly opened your eyes and rubbed your eyes. You were about to ask Kokushibo what was wrong until you turned your head to look over to Doma, your eyes widening in shock as there was blood on his lips. To you, he didn't have a sound coming from him.
He was hollow from the inside, and now you understood what was going on. Your first thought when you woke up was insulting yourself for being so stupid. You were simple-minded not to take your sword with you when you needed it. When Doma noticed that you have awakened, he tilted his head to the side, smiling creepily at you with his eyes full of murder to eat you first to see how Kokushibo would react. He didn't expect his superior to grow soft for a human when he was a powerful Upper Moon.
When Kokushibo put you down and hid you behind him, he knew you were in a vulnerable state, especially without your sword to defend yourself. If only he knew how useless you felt when you couldn't even protect yourself at the moment. "Oh? What an adorable little thing you are." He commented before putting his hands up in defense when he saw Kokushibo glare daggers at him.
"Run as fast as you can. You have no business here."
He demanded coldly, turning his head to look at you over his shoulder as his expression told you that he was serious. It was like whatever you thought of him instantly fell downhill. You knew full well that he was a monster, and whatever moment you shared didn't last. You couldn't blame him for becoming this defensive over you, and you didn't know why you were so important to him.
Instead of arguing with him, you nodded your head and sprinted away from the two demons, running as fast as you could to reach the headquarters. Once Kokushibo knew you were gone from his sight, he barely dodged Doma's attack with his fan, a small cut appearing on his cheek as blood began to run down his cheek.
"Let's make a bet, Kokushibo-dono. Whoever wins can eat that girl! She already looks tasty enough!"
Doma's words made his blood boil, but he knew full well that he shouldn't bring his emotions into the fight. In a more silent response, Kokushibo swung his sword into a powerful slash that created a multi-directional frontal assault. It was powerful enough to produce several deep gouges in the ground and push back Doma.
When Doma was pushed back, he could only giggle when he saw that Kokushibo was serious about this fight whatsoever. He could think of this as a fun game and a bet-- in which he was looking forward to devouring you if he won even if Kokushibo didn't agree to his bet. "Barren Hanging Garden." He spoke, summoning eight to ten successive fan attacks that created gusts of razor-sharp ice shards to slice the enemy into pieces.
Kokushibo managed to dodge the attack by performing several slashes to defend him from incoming attacks while also creating a barrage of crescent blades. As the area was destroyed around them from their fight, Kokushibo decided to end this fight by appearing behind Doma, using his agility to cut off his head, severing the head from Doma's body. Of course, it didn't bother him too much because he knew Doma could regenerate his head without a problem.
Just when he realized that the moon was going to set soon, he began walking away from Doma to head back to the Infinity Castle, knowing well that Muzan witnessed the fight between his subordinates. "You didn't bother hesitating, Kokushibo-dono! You're as impressive as always!"
Doma praised, clapping his hands together as he began to regenerate his head until it was back to normal. In response, Kokushibo stopped in his tracks to look at the other, glaring daggers at Doma since he was already annoyed by Doma. "I hope this serves as a lesson to stay far away from my woman." He directed. There was not one hint of playfulness in his voice.
As ruthless as he was, he wasn't planning on losing you this time or ever. After he declared what had to be said, he continued walking to go back home. Doma was confused about why his superior acted this way, especially for a helpless demon slayer like you. Tilting his head to the side like a confused puppy, he followed after the six-eyed man.
"Your woman? You said before that she didn't mean anything to you, Kokushibo-dono." He was already growing annoyed with Doma but gave him the cold shoulder, ignoring the cheeky bastard since he was too irritated that Doma didn't mind his business. But of course, he pouted childishly when he didn't receive an answer. Sure you were pretty and everything, but he didn't understand his connection to a human. Doma couldn't feel or express any type of emotion. He wondered what made you so special to a dangerous Upper Moon.
"How strange... Kokushibo-dono has never been this protective over a human..."

A/n: Hello! I apologize if this was a boring fight, but I'm not really good at writing fight scenes, especially for Doma or Koku. I tried my best to match Doma's personality as much as I could, but I feel like he was OOC and so was Koku. Anyway- I hoped you enjoyed this little fight scene and hopefully I satisfied all of you with Doma's defeat ^^;
