Maya POV
We've been living in this new house for about it a week now. Our neighbors have a daughter named Kelsey who is Ashlyn's age. Our neighbors across the street also had a baby girl 2 months ago named Gabriela. Gavin is still hanging out with Taylor since there aren't really any boys in our development. Except for this baby boy Reese, but he's only 4 months old. The kids have adjusted very well to their new surroundings. Riley and Lucas are planning on using some money my mom left for them to buy a house by us. I was watching tv when the kids rushed in. Mommy Ashlyn yelled there's a huge storm on the way so they sent all of us home early! I nodded okay well we're prepared for the storm so go play. They went to play when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my stomach. Josh! I yelled and then realized he was at work. I groaned okay Maya you can do this. I grabbed the keys and told the kids to get in the car. It was starting to rain and I know I shouldn't be driving, but these babies are coming. There was a huge crack of thunder which made my stomach lurch again. It was raining even harder and I could barley see. Pretty soon it got so bad I needed to pull over. Mom what's going on? Ashlyn said worriedly. I sighed um well I'm going into labor and we can't get to the hospital. I decided my best bet would be to call 911. I called and told them my emergency except I don't know my location. Ma'am they said we need to know your location. I sighed I don't know it's raining too hard to see! I think I'm somewhere close to the hospital! We waited for 10 minutes I was in so much pain. Finally an ambulance showed up as I screamed. They carried me into the ambulance and I handed my phone to Ashlyn. Hey princess call daddy and tell him to meet us at the hospital. I can't have theses babies without Josh. He was there for all the other births it just wouldn't be right. They put me in a room and I waited. A nurse came in sweetheart he ain't coming no one would be this crazy to go out in this weather. I glared at her he's coming and I'm not having these babies till he gets here. She shook her head and walked out. I've been waiting for almost an hour the pain is growing and I'm starting to sweat. The doctor rushes in Maya if you don't have these babies now then that's just hurting them more. I sighed okay let's do this. We got set up and I had another contraction. The doctor looked at the monitor okay Maya- she was stopped by the door bursting open. There stood a very wet Josh. He ran over and grabbed my hand. Maya I'm so sorry the traffic was awful an- I stopped him. Josh I'm kinda in the middle of something right now! He nodded oh yeah right carry on. The doctor smiled okay we're going to push on this next contraction. I started to push and push...push....push.
*skip through all that delivering stuff*
Josh POV
I'm so proud of Maya she did great. Both babies are alive and healthy. I went to the waiting room and brought Ashlyn and Gavin back. They walked in and both couldn't believe it. Remember how both of them were mad because they might have to share their rooms? Well looks like both of them are. I walked them over to the bed. Guys we'd like you to meet your two new siblings Elliot Nathan and Hannah Elisabeth. They both smiled a little even though they knew that those twins would invade their rooms. Maya was able to leave shortly and we walked in Maya carrying Elliot and I was carrying Hannah. We put them in their shared nursery for now until they get older. They immediately fell asleep and I turned to Maya. We've made some great babies together. She smiled yeah we really do.
