First competition was Skate Canada. Meaning we had to fly out to Canada. It was a beautiful place to see and visit. Even though we couldn't do that much sightseeing.

Right now, we were at the rink, getting Yuri ready for his free skate. He already wowed the crowd with his Agape performance for his Single Short Program. He was already dressed in his costume which consisted of pink, black, and red. But I didn't see the full thing cause Yuri was wearing his Russia jacket. He said he wanted to surprise me.

We were in the back room helping him get ready. Yakov was out by the rink to see the skaters perform and Lilia was trying to style Yuri's hair, making him wince slightly at times when she pulled too tight.

"Ok. You remember your jumps?" I asked.

"Yes." He huffed then rolled his eyes.

"You remember how many?"

"Da."

"You're not gonna do your usual dumb stunt and change the jumps while in the middle of your choreograph?"

"No."

"And you're-"

I stopped talking when he placed his hand over my mouth to shut me up. I just stared at him with a blank look as he smirked at me.

"You talk too much. Try shutting up."

I grabbed his hand and slowly moved it down as my lips slowly turned upwards into a devilish smirk. My grip tightened on his hand to the point where his fingers were starting to turn a bit purple.

"Interrupt me again and see what happens." I whispered.

"Ok. Jeez. Crazy suka." He muttered quietly as he snatched his hand out of my tight grasp.

"I will slap you." I giggled. Yeah, strange contrast. I am crazy. But most, if not all girls are. It's just nature.

"There." Lilia spoke, moving to stand in front of Yuri to do a little more styling in the front before finishing. "Now you're ready." She stated.

"I feel like a girl." He muttered with a small pout on his lips.

"But a beautiful one. And remember, without beauty, there is no grace. And without grace, there's no elegance. And without elegance, there's no success. And no success means no winning." I stated Lilia's words.

"Correct." She nodded.

"Ugh. What are you? Her prized pupil?" He scoffed.

"Depends." Lilia answered before walking away from us, probably to see what Yakov was doing meaning Yuri and I stayed behind.

"Ha! ~I'm her favorite~." I sang.

"Shut up. She never said that. You make it sound like we're two kids fighting over who the mother favorites the most." He chuckled.

"And I'm the favorite." I giggled.

"God, you're annoying to listen to sometimes." He muttered as he rubbed his temples.

"But you love me." I laughed like a little kid as I felt my face heat up for some stupid reason.

"Not really, but sure. Think what you want." He smirked.

"Fucking fat ass bastard jerk." I muttered as I turned around, my back facing towards him as I crossed my arms. "You're no good for me anyways." I chuckled.

"Well, guess this is it. You're no longer my best friend. It was nice knowing you."

I gasped and immediately turned around, grabbing onto his arms and roughly shook his body.
