Chapter 4

"We're here," Justin said as we pulled into an empty parking lot. He got out and jogged around the front of the car to the passenger side. Getting out of the car, I smiled at him.

"So, what exactly is this?" I asked. In front of me stood a giant building that looked around 40 years old.

"Come on. I'll show you," He countered, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the building.

"You better not be planning to murder me Bieber," I accused with an amused tone. He shook his head and we continued toward the front doors. Justin pulled out a key and opened them, pealing one open. We walked inside. My mouth dropped as I stood there, starring. What looked to be Christmas lights were hanging from the ceiling, doors, walls; about everything you could imagine had lights strown across it. In the middle of the room sat a small round table coated in a white table cloth. On the table were two empty dishes.

"Woah, Justin. What is all this?" I asked, looking over to him in awe. He shrugged his shoulders.

"I just wanted to have a nice night for myself and for you. School is hell and I think you deserve a nice night as much as I do," he replied. Taking my hand once again, he led me across the floor to the table.

"My lady," he chuckled, pulling out my chair and allowing me to sit down.

"Why thank you, kind sir," I replied in the most ridiculous accent I had ever heard. We both cracked a laugh and he finally sat down. Not even five seconds later a small, busty man appeared holding two glasses of Coke along with two menus.

"I'll be right back," he presumed as he grabbed the empty plates and walked away. I opened the menu and almost burst into laughter.

"Justin, the only thing on the menu is spaghetti," I smiled, holding back my laughter.

"I know," he replied, glancing up at me.

"Then why even have-"

"I don't know. It seemed like a good idea at the time," he chuckled and added a wink, making millons of butterfles swarm in my stomach. The waiter reappeared and we ordered the only thing that we could get, spaghetti. Justin and I made small talk until our food was brought out to us. I kindly thanked the short man and Justin and I began to eat. After dinner, we walked out to the car.

"I had fun. Thank you for an awesome time Jus-"

"Hey hey hey," he interuppted me, "who said we were done yet?" I gave him a confused look.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Get in the car and you'll see," Justin smiled as he opened the passenger door for me. I climbed into the car and let my mind slip straight to thoughts of what else Bieber might have planned.

Justin pulled onto a gravel driveway which seemed to have no end.

"Where are we going?" I asked. We had been in the car for atleast 45 minutes and I was starting to get anxious. I wasn't really into suprises and Justin wasn't helping my situation.

"Take a chill pill Paisley, we're almost there," he breathed as he looked over at me. I nodded and continued looking out the window. There wasn't really much to look at. We were inside a car, on a gravel driveway, surrounded by hundreds of trees, and I didn't know where we were going or what Justin had planned. Finally, the car made a complete stop at the top of a hill.

"Wh-," I began, but got cut off by Justin slamming his door shut. He rounded the car and opened my door.

"Come here," he said. I could see the excitement dancing in his eyes, so I gladly followed. Looking straight ahead, I almost lost my way of breathing. From the top of the hill, all of New York City was visible. You could see Broadway, the Empire State Building, and the Statue of Liberty, all lit up due to the nighttime.

"Oh my god, Justin," I smiled as tears welled in my eyes, "this is so gorgeous."

"I know. I love it up here. My friend Kyle told me about it, so I checked it out and thought you would love it too," he grinned. I nodded. He took my hand in his and looked me straight in the eyes.

"I'm glad you agreed to hangout with me tonight," he started, "I've been wanting to show you this place for the past week. I'm really excited that you like it." He grinned.

"I love it," I smiled and stole a glance at the view.

"Do you want to sit? I have a blanket in the car," he asked. I nodded and Justin went to retrieve the blanket. I blinked and stared up at the sky. He spread the blanket on the ground and sat down, pulling me down with him. I leaned my head on his shoulder as his thumb traced delicate circles on my right hand.

"Hey Paisley?" Justin's voice broke the silence.

"Mhm?" I asked, glancing up at him.

"Is it okay if I kiss you.. or that's okay of it's not I was just-"

"Justin, stop. Yes, it's okay," I laughed. He leaned in and I immediately felt millions of shivers shoot through my spine when I felt his lips brush mine. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the way his lips felt against mine. The way they were soft and sent those familiar butterflies swarming through my stomach. He pulled away and smirked.

"Not too bad, Bradshaw." he smiled.

"I could say the same about you, Bieber," I blushed.
