(Chapter Twenty-One)

Skylar looked so hurt. GAH! Im so stupid. After all that has happened..... I hurt her. Her name was Elaine. I met her at the store when Skye, Alesa, and Jackie went to look for a dress. I can't belive I did that to Skye, I love her so much and i betrayed her.

I looked out the window and saw Skye on the dock. Right before I left to go talk to her I looked out the window one last time and saw her dive into the lake.

"SKYE!" I yelled I ran through the house as fast as I could not caring how many things I knocked over. "TYLER! WHAT THE HECK!" I heard Adam yell, I dont care I ran right outside and jumped in after Skye.

I couldnt find her... I looked around one last time and saw her lifeless body on the ground of the lake. I quickly swam down and brought her up. I laid her down on the dock and called for Adam. He ran out with Alesa and Jackie.

They looked down and were shocked. "Skylar...." Adam called 911 and Alesa helped me get Skye into the house. We set her down on the couch and waited for the perimedics to arrive. I walked back outside to get her guitar case. I bent down to grab it and saw her note.

Dear whoever is reading this,

im gone, not to be found again. tyler you shattered mt heart into a thousand peices, and it will never be fixed. adam and alesa i couldnt be happier for yall and im sorry i wont be here for the wedding. alesa you will look beautiful in that dress. adam take care of her, and adam do something for me, tell tyler i do still love him but my trust for him will never be fixed.

I was on the bridge on tears..... She doesnt trust me. I looked at her notebook and saw her song, i began to read it out loud. "She would not show that she was afraid,
But being and feeling alone was too much to face
Though everyone said that she was so strong,
What they didn't know is that she could barely carry on"  I couldnt help but cry more. "TYLER THEIR HERE HURRY UP!"

I closed her notebook and grabbed her guitar and ran to Adams car.

Its been 2 weeks and Skye is still in the hospital. Not in a coma but so they can keep an eye on her and she wont talk to me. I knocked on her room door. "Can I come in?" No response. I walk in with my guitar and a notebook. "Skye I know your mad at me and you can stay mad at me just listen to me."

I pull my guitar out of its case and play the song I wrote just for her.
