Everyone hugged along with a chorus of "congratulations" and "im so happy for you!" After the giant hug was over Tyler gave me a quick kiss and walked over to his house to start packing. So thats what I did.

I walked over to my laptop and opened up my Spotify. I went to my favorite playlist and clicked on "Smile" by Mikky Ekko.

I was dancing while grabbing clothes and putting them in boxes.

I was running and jumping and just looking like a complete idiot.... not even caring....

And time will eventually knock on my door

When the song ended I stopped and just smiled... I picked up where I left off and finished packing. Once I finished I walked downstairs and called our realtor, "Hello?........ when can we move in?..........tomorrow?Really?.......... thank you so much!........ Okay bye!"

I texted Tyler and told him that we can move tomorrow and that our realtor already called the movers.

I woke up after spending the night on my pile of blankets and single pillow. I quickly changed and finished getting ready while throwing the blankets and pillow in the last box and taping it shut.

I ran downstairs and saw Tyler already with his boxes in the truck, he walked over to me and hugged me, "We're finally starting our own life...." I whispered, "yea...... im so happy" He whispered back after kissing my nose.

Tyler helped me move my boxes and they were all in the truck when I walked back upstairs. I sat in the middle of my empty room and remembered that 2 years ago I first moved into the house....

I walked into our new living room and sat down on the floor in the middle of the room.

My mom and my brother Luke soon joined me in the empty room.

"Skylar? Luke?"

We looked at our mom and she held out 2 boxes. One with my name one with Luke's.

"Mom! You didn't!"

"I did!"

I opened my gift and a smile grew on my face.

A Pair of White Ice Skates.

That pair of ice skates started this whole adventure.... I stood up and walked to my bedroom door and picked up the ice skates from the floor and put them in the last box and put them in the closet.

I hope the ice skates will give someone else as good as life as they've given me...
